Our journey will take us to Petermann Island or Wilhelmina Bay where we encounter colossal icebergs and icy landscapes that stretch as far as the eye can see. Hardy adventurers have the unique opportunity to camp out on the ice overnight and experience the thrill of the brave, early explorers who attempted to conquer this inhospitable continent. This journey to Antarctica is truly an incredible opportunity, and we invite you to join us on this once-in-a-lifetime expedition!

a) Due to constantly fluctuating exchange rates, we now quote our tours in 4 currencies (see website for all 4 currencies). The tour price is however fixed only in the currency printed in bold (US$), and the actual cost in the other currencies listed will be adjusted according to prevailing exchange rates at the time of final invoicing (usually 3 months before the tour.) The same with approximate domestic flight (where applicable) and single supplement rates, which are also quoted in the respective fixed currency.
b) Please also note that a M17026 leader may not accompany the expedition unless a minimum of 10 participants are signed up through M17026. In the case that a M17026 leader is not on board, the professional expedition staff will take care of all participants signed up through M17026.
c) Furthermore, these costs are subject to unforeseen increases in tour related costs (especially fuel) and may have to be adjusted as a result. You will be notified by email if fuel surcharges or other price adjustments need to be implemented.
d) Lastly, we may be forced to change or alter the itinerary and / or the designated M17026 leader/s at short or no notice due to unforeseen circumstances; please be aware that we will attempt to adhere as close to the original program as possible.
IMPORTANT CLIENT PROTECTION INITIATIVES:
In order to receive a 5% discount on the tour price on your booking, 50% of the tour fee must be paid within 30 days of M17026 receiving the payment of your deposit (US$1,500.00 pp) and the final outstanding balance is payable 90 days prior to departure. Buenos Aires is the main port of entry for international flights in Argentina and is well serviced by all of the world’s major airlines. From here there are regular connections to Ushuaia. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE TWO MAJOR AIRPORTS IN BUENOS AIRES AND IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE WHICH AIRPORTS ARE RELEVANT TO THE FLIGHTS YOU BOOK. These are Ezeiza Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE) and Jorge Newberry Airport (AEP), which is the domestic airport. Both the international and domestic airports cater for internal flights within Argentina. These airports are completely separate and the drive between them usually takes approximately 1 hour; however, in peak traffic this can take up to 1½ hours. It is therefore essential that you confirm with your travel agent the airport code in order to be sure which airport your flights arrive at and depart from.We have the capacity to advise you on the best route according to your preferences, but your local travel agent will best be able to book these flights for you. However, please DO NOT book your international flights until you have consulted the M17026 office for confirmation on the status of the tour.
