This is a complete tour of KwaZulu-Natal. We travel from Durban to the Midlands, then around and down to the North Coast, before returning back. All the while we will be stopping at the famous battle fields and game reserves.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: We leave Durban and head for the valley of a thousand hills where you will enjoy the amazing views that gave it its name. That night will be spent at our game lodge just outside Dundee. It is form we will explore the battlefields.The lodge is set on a game reserve which will alow us to enjoy nature and do some game viewing in the arly morning and afternoons, while we use the main oart of the day to explore the verious battlefields. Included: (L, D)
Day 2: Next day takes us back in time, to witness the many battles that where fought in the area. We will show you the three better known battle sites: Blood River from the Zulu Boer war, then Isandlwana and Rorkes Drift from the Anglo Zulu war. Included: (B, L, D)
Day 3: We have an early start, and make our way to Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game reserve in search of the Big 5 and much more. This park is responsible for saving the Rhino. Here we will enjoy some of the best game viewing and join the park's rangers for an evening game drive. Included: (B, L, D)
Day 4: We stay in the park and enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive leaving us just enough time to relax arround the pool at midday. Included: (B, L, D)
Day 5: We are now off to St. Lucia, which is a world heritage site. We will take a trip up the estuary, where we will view the largest population of Hippo in South Africa, along with a variety of other animals. That night will be spent on the beach. Cape Vidal is located in the heart of the heritage site and allows you to enjoy the wildlife along with the beach. Included: (B, L, D)
Day 6: We start making our way back to Durban, but not before enjoying the hospitality of a Traditional Zulu village where you can learn more about these amazing people. Included: (B, L)
