Your tour starts in St. Petersburg where you will be able to see the famous Hermitage museum, the Winter Palace and other attractions. Then you will pass a few more towns and reach Moscow. It is considered one of the most expensive and beautiful cities in the world. Then onward through Siberia, to Lake Baikal, the biggest lake in the world, and finally to the port city Vladivostok, where you will spend two days sightseeing before your flight back home.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive St. Petersburg. You will be met and transferred to the conveniently located hotel Moscva or similar.
Day 2: Sightseeing excursion around the town in the morning. A visit to the renowned Hermitage in the afternoon.
Day 3: Out of town excursion to Pushkin and Pavlovsk to see the magnificent Summer Palace and impressive gardens. Late evening transfer to the train station to board the 'Red Arrow' Express overnight train bound for Moscow.
Day 4: Morning arrival into Moscow. You will be met and transferred to the Rossia hotel located in the heart of downtown beside Red Square. After freshening up you will have a city tour by car with guide to introduce you to the Russian capital.
Day 5: Free day in Moscow to enjoy sightseeing on your own, or possibly a day trip out of town. Contact us for suggestions.
Day 6: Today you will be transferred to the train station for the departure of the 'Trans-Siberian Express' to Irkutsk in Siberia.
Days 7-9: On board the train passing from Europe into Asia.
Day 10: Arrive Irkutsk where you will be met and taken to the conveniently located hotel Intourist. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 11: Full day excursion to Lake Baikal and the fishing village of Listvyanka by private car with your own English speaking guide.
Day 12: Transfer to the train station to board the "Trans-Siberian" for the next leg of the journey.
Days 13-14: On board the train travelling through the scenic countryside.
Day 15: Arrive Vladivostok. You will be met and transferred to the centrally located hotel Vladivostok.
Day 16: Introductory city tour by car with guide to see some of the sights of this interesting port city including the small local museum and the WW2 submarine.
Day 17: Transfer to the airport for departure flight.
If you prefer it is possible to start the tour in Moscow (saving 3 days) at the reduced cost of $2565 per person.
