Join expert river guides & fisheries biologists on a raft supported river swim down the Atnarko River in the heart of Tweedsmuir Park and the Great Bear Rainforest of Bella Coola British Columbia!!! See hundreds to thousands of pink and spring salmon in crystal clear warm waters of this beautiful coastal river. Our trip offers a unique opportunity to swim with wild migratory salmon, trout and resident fish in pristine wilderness.
We provide transportation, snacks, wetsuits, mask, fins and snorkels and a guaranteed good time on a unique holiday adventure.
Our comfortable wetsuits and spacious tour rafts allow you to slip in and out of the warm waters of the Atnarko River at your leisure, enjoying the sunny views of the riverscape, or the spectacular underwater world of the Pacific Salmon!!! Expect to see numerous juvenile salmon, trout, adult spawning salmon and other underwater life, including mussels and resident whitefish. Biologists will be on hand, and underwater with you to answer your questions and point out fascinating ecosystem features.
We'll enjoy a day on the river with hot tea, cold drinks and snacks to top it off.
Kynoch Adventures provides all equipment and Trips depart daily from Brockton House Inn in Hagensborg during July and August. Advanced booking of 24 hrs is recommended during peak season (July 20 to 20). Trips are suitable to all fitness and adventure levels, with no snorkeling experience required. Guides are qualified
PADI Dive Masters and provide hands on snorkeling training as part of the trip!
Suitable for Children older than 10 years old, while accompanied by a parent. Non-snorkeling guests are also welcome on our trips, making it perfect for families!!!
