Day 1: Arrival at destination – Luka Sipanska. After the arrival at Dubrovnik Airport or harbour you will be transferred to Luka Sipanska. This village at the far end of Sipan Island with beautiful sunsets is a charming and romantic fishing village in a bay surrounded with palm trees. Its beauty makes it a favorite mooring place of sailing yachts. Sipan is the largest of the Elaphiti Islands and its landscape, castles, chapels and monasteries are ideally explored by bikes or on foot. Luka Sipanska will be our base for the first three nights of the holiday. Enjoy the afternoon exploring, swimming and sunbathing. Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska.
Day 2: Cycling Sipan Island. Sipan is the largest of the Elaphiti Islands. It was lucky enough to reach its peak of development at the time when the Republic of Dubrovnik was the richest. The result is the largest number of summer villas found among all three inhabited islands, as well as numerous churches, chapels and monasteries. Two villages, Luka Sipanska and Sudjuradj, are connected by a road with very little traffic, which is ideal for cycling. Visit a local hilltop farm with picturesque olive groves and the most beautiful view of the island. Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska. Meals: B.
Day 3: Elaphiti Islands Kayaking. The Elaphiti Islands are one of the best Croatian archipelagos for sea kayaking. Each island is small and easy to kayak around, but has an interesting and indented coastline, offering numerous coves and beaches. We paddle out of Luka Sipanska this morning and head west towards Jakljan, Tajan and Olipa islands. All three are uninhabited and their beaches can only be accessed from a small boat or kayak, resulting in a number of secluded beaches and a rich, undisturbed underwater world. There will be plenty of time for swimming and snorkeling before returning to Luka Sipanska for yet another spectacular sunset. For those looking to spend more time in Dubrovnik, it is also possible to spend the morning kayaking and head to the Old Town for the afternoon. Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska. Meals: B.
Day 4: Boarding and Elaphiti Islands Sailing. Spend a relaxing morning on Sipan enjoying walks, swimming, sea kayaking or paddleboarding in the peaceful Luka Sipanska bay. Board the boat in the afternoon and set sail to Ston on the Peljesac peninsula. Our boat is a modern Nautitech 44 catamaran with four en suite rooms, plenty of deck space and excellent sailing performance. Accommodation: yacht. Meals: B.
Day 5: Mljet Island National Park sailing, paddleboarding, cycling and swimming. Today is reserved for Mljet Island National Park. Two salt water lakes surrounded by a lush, green forest, the larger one with a small island in the middle, make Mljet a spectacular location for paddleboarding, hiking, cycling and swimming. We will cycle from the catamaran to the lakes, where you can take a boat to the small with a 12th century Benedictine monastery. We anchor in a quiet bay for the night. Accommodation: yacht. Meals: B.
Day 6: Peljesac Peninsula sailing and kayaking. Today we explore the Peljesac Peninsula, one of the most successful and famous wine making regions in Croatia. It is a true oasis of peace with its vast vineyards, salt and oyster farms, quiet towns, narrow streets and hidden beaches. We will sail from Mljet in the morning and spend the day sea kayaking or paddleboarding to the White Beach, a very special bay which can be reached only by boat or kayak. Its caves and reefs make it an ideal place for swimming and snorkeling. Accommodation: yacht. Meals: B.
Day 7: Elaphiti Islands sailing, visit Dubrovnik. We will have an early start today and sail between the Elaphiti Islands with occasional swimming or snorkeling stops until we reach Kolocep, a small island with lovely Mediterranean villages and excellent hiking trails. Kolocep's bays, caves and coves make it a perfect place for sea kayaking or paddleboarding. Enjoy lunch in one of the best fish restaurants in the area before transferring to the mainland in the afternoon to visit Dubrovnik, one of the world’s most beautiful walled towns. Return to Komolac for a farewell dinner in the serene ambiance of the Ombla River. Accommodation: guesthouse or catamaran. Meals: B
Day 8: Departure. Transfer to Dubrovnik hotel, bus station, harbor or airport. You are welcome to schedule your homeward transport for any time. If you decide to spend more time in Croatia, our guides will be happy to recommend other beautiful places to visit - especially those you won’t find in tourist guide books.
