Itinerary: Meet at Manas Airport. Drive to either the Rich Hotel or Asia Mountains Hotel to eat breakfast and have some time to rest/freshen up. Afterwards drive to Ala Archa National Park, one of the most popular areas around Bishkek. It was founded in the 1970s to help preserve the plant and wildlife of the region, covers 20,000 hectares, and is filled with high mountain peaks, glaciers, and winding rivers. Next visit a local museum and enjoy a leisurely dinner at a local café. Meals - B L D. Accomodation - Hotel
Day 2: Bishkek - Cholpon Ata.
Itinerary: After breakfast we’ll drive to the city of Cholpon Ata on the shores of Lake Issyk Kul. The road to the lake offers gorgeous mountain and river views, perfect photo/video opportunities. Visit a Silk Road monument, Burana Tower, once located in the ancient town of Balasagun during the Karakhanid Khaganate. The tower was built in the 11th century, but the khaganate fell in the 15th century, leaving the town deserted and the buildings destroyed. However, Burana Tower still stands as a silent witness of ancient history to this day. After our trip to Burana Tower, we’ll drive to the Raduga Recreation Center where we’ll have dinner and spend the night. Meals - B L D. Accomodation - Raduga Recreation Center.
Day 3: Cholpon Ata.
Itinerary: Spend the day at/around the Raduga Recreation Center. You can visit the center’s spa or the ethnic complex, Ruh Ordo (museum of five religions). The builder of Ruh Ordo, Tashkula Kereksizov, wanted to unite the five religions of Islam, Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Judaism and Buddhism in one place. It has since become a popular spiritual center in the area. You can also visit some of the area’s souvenir shops. Meals - B L D. Accomodation -Raduga Recreation Center
Day 4: Cholpon Ata - Karakol Ski Resort.
Itinerary: Drive to the Karakol Ski Resort, visiting the Semenov and Grigoriev Gorges on the way for a guided tour of the area. Afterwards stop by the Tash Suu hot springs where the waters register at over 40 degrees Celsius. Arrive at the Karakol Ski Resort. Meals B L D. Accomodation -Karakol Ski Resort.
Day 5-9: Karakol Ski Resort.
Itinerary: Enjoy skiing and relaxing at the Karakol Ski Resort. The hotel is located right next to the ski lift and there are slopes of varying difficulty available for both beginner and advanced skiers. Equipment rental is available at the resort as well as cafes where you can sit and enjoy some hot mulled wine. On the last day, head back to Manas Airport in the evening, stopping for dinner on the way. Meals B L D. Accomodation - Karakol Ski Resort.
