10-day birding trip.
Day 1: Kibale National Park. Depart from Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park. Late afternoon birding at the park’s entrance and the surrounding nearby areas.
Dinner & overnight at Chimpanzee Forest G/hse /Rwenzori view hotel
Day 2: Kibale Forest. Full day in Kibale Forest, apart from its amazing birding, it's home to an astonishing 12 species of primate and provides one of the highest primate densities in the world. Here, on our guided forest walk, we may find families of chimps and red colobus monkeys chattering and swinging through the ancient forest trees. Kibale with its ancient trees up to 55 m in height is a wonderful place to experience at first hand the extraordinary diversity of life in a tropical rainforest. We'll also have the opportunity to a guided walk through the Bigodi swamp.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park. After an early morning walk in the Magombe swamp, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for birding around Lake George and the Mweya Peninsula, you will have lunch and go on the launch on the Kazinga channel this afternoon. The channel has an enormous birdlife not found elsewhere in the country. Shoebill, Martial Eagle, black-rumped buttinquail, African Skimmer, Verneaux's Eagl owl, 550 species.
Dinner and overnight at Kingfisher lodge / Simba safari camp.
Day 4: Ishasha Section. An early start for the drive to Ishasha through the Maramagambo- Kigezi area; check in at Ishasha Ntungwe camp. After a short relaxation you will go for a late evening birding walk. Dinner & overnight at Ishasha Ntungwe camp.
Day 5: Bwindi National Park. After an early morning game drive - maybe a chance to see one of the rare tree-climbing lions, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - a treasure chest of flora and fauna and the richest forest in East Africa. Home to the rare Mountain Gorilla,
Albertine Rift Endemics-Red throated Alethe, Archers Robin-chat, Rwenzori Batis and Strange Weaver. Many coloured Bush-Shrike. 357 species. Dinner & overnight at Engagi lodge/Buhoma Camp.
Day 6: Birding. Full day birding in the forest.
Day 7: Birding. Another full day’s birding tour to Ruhija at the Mubwindi Swamp.
Day 8: Lake Mburo National Park. Leave after breakfast and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, here the park's lovely landscape is complemented by Lake Mburo itself and four smaller lakes, beautiful and tranquil surroundings where you'll see impala, eland, klipspringer, waterbucks, zebra and buffalo.
Dinner & Overnight at Mantana tented camp/Rwonyo Camp
Day 9: Birding. Full day birding at Lake Mburo; after a picnic lunch we'll take a canoe trip in the afternoon to see kingfisher, heron and other water-birds, Your guide will keep you safe distance from the hippo and crocodiles! African Finfoot, brown-chested Plover, Southern ground Hornbill, Spot-flanked, Red-tailed and black collared Bardets, White-winged Warbler, Paprus Yellow Warbler. 315 species.
Day 10: Kampala. Morning at leisure, and return to Kampala this afternoon.
