Our Ghana Birds and Butterflies tour concentrates on the southern Upper Guinea rainforests where over 800 species of butterfly can be found, along with most of Ghana’s most sought-after birds. This tour includes the rarely-visited Ankasa rainforest, affording us possibilities for seldom-seen rainforest birds and some of Africa’s most beautiful butterflies. Other sites visited include Kakum National Park and a White-necked Rockfowl nesting site where we stand excellent chances of viewing this mythical species.
