Cabins: All 80 Cabins on the MS Primadonna are outside cabins with individually adjustable air conditioning, with shower and toilet, hair dryer, satellite television, telephone, mini-bar and spacious wardrobes.
- The main deck cabins are approximately 12 m2 and are equipped with a large, unopenable porthole.
- The spacious cabins on the upper and promenade decks are appr. 16 m2 and are equipped with a balcony with bench seat.
Day 1: individual arrival at Passau. Welcome refreshments are offered on board from 4 pm; at 8 pm, the captain’s welcome dinner, with a 4-course a la carte menu, begins and the line departs!
Day 2: Schlögen/Obermühl – Linz, 53 km. Distribution of bicycle rentals at Schlögen Bend in the morning. Individual cycling tour through the uninhabited Engtal bei Kaiserau to Ottensheim and further on to Linz.
Day 3: Vienna or cycling tour through Danube Floodplains National Park, 48 km. On the Danube cycling route, car-free from Vienna to Hainburg, through the Danube Floodplains National Park (Hainburg is the most significant, Gothic city fortification in Austria). Or take the recommended route for the city tour by bicycle from/to the ship (17 km) to the largest portion of the car-free cycling routes.
Day 4: Komárom – Esztergom, 56 km. Depart from Komáron, cycling on the left bank through small, dreamy places on the very beautiful, car-free causeway, partially directly on the Danube. Cycle to Esztergom via Moca. At 5 pm, there is a tour through the third largest cupola cathedral in Europe, with the largest altarpiece in the world. Cycle over the Gisela Bridge to Sturovo, directly opposite Esztergom.
Day 5: sightseeing in Budapest and cycling tour to Szentendre, 38 km. In the morning, there is a city tour of Budapest directly from the boat landing station (Length ca. 3 hrs; Price € 9,- on-site), which ends in the city centre. In the afternoon, go by ship (departing at 3 pm) to the artists’ island Szentendre or take a cycling tour on the Danube cycling path from the ship in Budapest to Szentendre.
Day 6: sightseeing in Bratislava and cycling tour Bratislava – Hainburg, 35 km. In the morning, guided city tour through the historical centre of Bratislava from the ship (€ 5,- on-site). On the Danube cycling route and a short stint on a back road to Devin/National memorial of Slovakia. Over the new cycling bridge to Austria, to the magnificent palace of the Empress Maria Theresia, Schloss Hof (significant Baroque gardens, staterooms, etc.) and continue on to Hainburg.
Day 7: cycling tour to Wachau, 55 km. Follow the Danube cycling path from Krems (UNESCO) to the Nibelung city Ybbs via Dürnstein (castle ruin, panorama) and Spitz.
Day 8: disembarkation / Passau. Arrival in Passau around 8:45 am – Bus transfer to main train station or to car park (if booked) after breakfast (approx. at 9:30 am).
