Slavonice is one of our favourite towns. It is virtually undiscovered by tourists, but here you will discover beautifully decorated houses. Telc is a UNESCO-listed World Heritage site. With a perfectly preserved town square lined with Renaissance houses and a chateau.

Wednesday 22nd June
In Jindrichuv Hradec you will have the chance to visit a gothic castle or a centre dedicated to the restoration and creation of tapestries, or you can just wander around this fascinating town. In Trebon we will visit an exhibition about the history and wildlife of the Trebonsko Lakes. The lakes were created in the 16th century and are now a UNESCO biosphere.

Thursday 23rd June
In the morning after a stop at the UNESCO-listed village Holasovice,  we continue to the Renaissance pleasure palace of the Lords of Krumlov at Kratochvile, and then on to Hluboka nad Vltavou, where you can visit the 19th Century fairytale castle or the excellent Ales Gallery of Gothic Art.

Friday 24th - 27th June
Cesky Krumlov's Chamber Music Festival begins. One of the highlights of the Festival is the Baroque Night, which usually takes place on the first two nights of the Festival (tbc). The entire evening is full of Baroque dancing, music, theatre, promenades, and feasts,  but also full of mischief and joy in a magical atmosphere created by the flickering candlelight and taking place in the historical interiors and exteriors of the castle.
