Learn in a small group, under great instruction, be challenged at your own level and enjoy the All Mountain experience. These holidays will involve a reasonable degree of physical effort for which you will need to have good cardio-vascular fitness.
3 hours a day instruction that makes sense from top British teachers who know what they are talking about. Ski with us, not following behind us - learning, being encouraged, challenged and above all having fun, is what our courses aspire to.
It’s not ski school, we ‘go skiing’ in a small, friendly groups (average 6/7, max is 8) at your level, learning how to tackle the conditions that you may have problems with, giving you tools and techniques to improve, help and give you the confidence on those slopes that you feel ‘you never quite manage to master’. It’s your holiday and we never forget that, we just aim to make it a better one!
Feedback and Video Evenings:
Every evening, except Wednesdays, we provide an optional, informal session that allows us to clarify the days activities, possibly revise the course to fit individual needs and look through any video footage. These sessions are a huge help to learning and great fun over a drink or two.
Our instructors will organise an optional welcome meeting on the evening of your arrival in resort. This is a chance for us to let you know all about the course ahead, the snow, weather conditions, to arrange the groups for the first day, to recommend ski equipment if you are hiring and for you to ask any questions.
Tignes - Ski Area:
For our pre-christmas ski weeks this is an ideal venue. It is one of the largest and most convenient of the purpose-built resorts. The high altitude and excellent snow record of Tignes make it an ideal location for our earlier and later ski weeks in the winter season. There are three main villages in Tignes, Le Lavachet, Le Lac and Val Claret, all linked by free buses 24 hours a day. The combined lift system of Tignes and Val D'Isere have long been recognised as offering some of the very best skiing in the world.
Skiing stretches from the Grande Motte glacier at 3656 m down to the villages of Le Fornet and Les Brevieres at either end of the ski area. In later November and early December skiers can usually ski the whole Glacier, down to Val Claret, across to Tignes Le Lac and over to Val D'Isere and beyond.
Price Includes: 7 nights chalet board accommodation & 5 half-days instruction (3 hours per day).
