Your itinerary:
Day 1: JFK/ Casablanca
Flying a foreign carrier-especially Royal Air Maroc - is a start for your exotic vacation as soon as you take off. Day 2: Casablanca
Arrival to Casablanca Mohammed V Airport, formalities taken care of by your host guide and transfer to the hotel for an early check in, relaxing morning, free lunch. In the after noon transfer to the Mohamed V stadium to watch a National Moroccan game. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Casablanca
After breakfast at 11AM, transfer to WAC Stadium for your first soccer game back to the hotel, free for lunch. afternoon visit of Casablanca, city of" Humphrey Bogart "Casablanca is the principal city of Morocco, and capital on all but administration.
Day 4: Casablanca/ Marrakech
After breakfast depart to Marrakech via Rabat. Rabat is the capital of nation. the city in many ways is what you will expect. elegant in its spacious European grid, slightly self conscious in its very civilized modern way. free lunch and an afternoon departure to Marrakech. dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Marrakech
In impressive site. arrival to Marrakech " Morocco City" as the early travelers called it- has always been something of a pleasure city, a market place where the southern tribesman and Berber villagers bring in the goods, spend their money, and find entertainment. For tourists it's an enduring fantasy- city of immense beauty, low ,pink and tent like before a great shaft of mountains, and immediately and exciting Dinner and an overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Marrakech
After breakfast, and a relaxing morning, a transfer to Marrakech stadium for soccer practice, back to the hotel, free lunch, afternoon devoted to discovering the historical sites. Marrakech, the pearl of the south. A city beyond any description, ornamented with wonderful green palm trees: A true delight!. The historical visit of Marrakech will include the Menara: A magnificent pool surrounded by flowers, reflecting the image of a beautiful Moorish construction built in 1866 for the dignitaries glorious sunsets with the Atlas mountains as a backdrop. Also, the pool is function irrigation system to the surrounding areas. The tour will see several impressive sites: The Koutoubia Minaret (the twin tower of la Giralda Sevilla, Spain), the Saadian tombs demonstrating Moorish architecture in its perfection. The tombs consisting of splendid mausoleums built in the sixteenth century, were walled for some time, not to be discovered until 1917. Other sites include: the museum of Dar Si Said with the best display of Berber arts and crafts to be found; the remains of the Badii Place, a historical monument chosen to host the annual National Festival of Popular Art, beginning the second Friday in June. The Bahia Palace still hosts dignitaries in the heart of the Mellah (Jewish quarter) today. Lunch at the hotel then a walk though the colorful souks of Marrakech in the afternoon. conclude the day with a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jamaa El Fna Square. Optional dinner at Chez Ali in Berber tents with show.
Day 7: Marrakech
After breakfast, relaxing morning at leisure. 11 AM, transfer to Marrakech stadium for a second friendly soccer game, back to hotel, free for lunch, afternoon shopping at the historical souks or Marrakech, farewell dinner at the hotel and pictures taken, evening and overnight at leisure at the hotel.
Day 8: Marrakech/ JFK
After early breakfast, depart to Marrakech airport for your Royal Air Maroc flight back to the USA (connecting via Casablanca). with memorable trip of a life time.
