Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Mount Kenya
Travel to Sweet waters tented camp from Nairobi. This private game reserve is well known for its Rhino's and chimpanzee sanctuary supervised by the famous expert on Chimpanzees, Jane Goodall. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive. Your accommodation comprises of spacious tents with special facilities built around a waterhole, permissive for excellent bird & game viewing. Day 2: Aberdares National Park
Take breakfast and drive to your Aberdares Tree hotel for a thrilling evening watching game as they visit the floodlit water hole. This is a dramaturgy and a great introduction to your picnic. You will be staying overnight at The Ark Tree Lodge. (FB)
Day 3: Nairobi
After breakfast drive back to Nairobi and rest. Take the opportunity to indulge in any of the optional recreational activities in Nairobi this afternoon such as lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. Visit the Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Center. Overnight at Hotel Intercontinental. (BB)
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park
Take breakfast and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Then an afternoon game drive along the way in this compact little park famous for its flamingos and other birdlife, leopard, buck, elephant, and many other species. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge. (FB)
Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve Kenya 's most famous reserve
Continue through the Great Rift Valley viewing its extinct volcanoes into the land of the famous Masai tribe, and into the Masai Mara. In your afternoon game drive seek out the elusive "Big Five", namely: lion, buffalo elephant, rhino and leopard. Amongst all other species which have made this reserve so famous. Visit a local Masai village for a closer cultural interaction with the Masai people. Optional night game drive (price not included on the package). Overnight at Siana Springs Intrepid Lodge. (FB)
Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve
Choose on spectacular Balloon ride in the Masia Mara - price not included on the package. Start the day with an early morning game drive and continue the afternoon with more exciting game drives, all with superb photographic opportunities to capture the stately Black-maned lion, elephant and various plains game. Day 7: Departure
You are driven back to Nairobi and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport after lunch. Book a dayroom if your flight is a bit later than your arrival time in Nairobi for afternoon use and go on an optional guided city tour of Nairobi if you wish.
