From the path of an ancient elephant migratory route to the electricity of flamingos in flight this safari enlightens the senses with scenes of forest, lakes mountains and open savanna to share with you the diversity of Kenya’s wildlife. Group departures are guaranteed with a minimum of 2 people. Each vehicle will only carry 7 people to guarantee a window seat to all. This does not apply to city transfers.
Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi
After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta Airport you are met and transferred to the respective Nairobi hotel. Use of room is not guaranteed before noon. The remainder of the day is spent at leisure. You will be transferred to the Carnivore restaurant at 7pm for dinner. Overnight at Holiday Inn Mayfair or Jacaranda Hotel (D).

- Nairobi City tour (2 hours) at 10Am and 2pm
- Bomas of Kenya (3 hours) at 2:30pm
- Karen Blixen, Giraffe Centre, Kazuri and Utamaduni (4 hours) at 2pm
- Nairobi National Park (4 hours) at 9am and 2pm
- Animal orphanage or safari walk and Mamba village (3 hours) at 2pm
- Art trail (4 hours) at 10am
Day 2: Nairobi - Amboseli
Breakfast is at the hotel before a drive via Namanga to Amboseli National Park, to arrive in time for lunch at the respective lodge. The afternoon is spent on a game viewing drive. Overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge or Amboseli Sopa Lodge (FI).
Day 3: Amboseli to Nairobi to Aberdares
After an early morning game drive ad breakfast we return to Nairobi where we have lunch at a local restaurant before driving on to Nyeri – to Outspan Hotel. Later this afternoon we transfer, in hotel shuttle vehicles, into Aberdare National Park, and onto Treetops lodge for a night of game viewing from the lodge precincts. See the end of this itinerary for some interesting information on Treetops Lodge. Overnight at Treetops Lodge (FI).
Day 4: Aberdares - Lake Naivasha or Lake Nakuru
If your overnight was at Treetops, then the return shuttle transfer is to Outspan Hotel for breakfast. If your overnight was The Ark, then the return shuttle transfer is to Aberdares Country Club for breakfast. Rejoin your driver/ guide and depart for the Rift Valley arriving for lunch at a lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing and bird watching is enjoyed this afternoon.
Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill or Lake Nakuru Lodge (FI) OR early evening drive to Lake Naivasha area for dinner. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa or Rift Valley Golf Lodge (FI).
Day 5: Lake Nakuru or Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara
After breakfast you continue your safari west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective lodge or camp. This afternoon is spent on a game viewing drive. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge or Keekorok Lodge (FI).
Day 6: Maasai Mara
Today is spent enjoying a morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve, with spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge or Keekorok Lodge (FI).
Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi and Depart
After breakfast at the lodge or camp you will drive with you will be driven back to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon, you will be dropped off at the Holiday Inn Mayfair or Jacaranda Hotel (use of room is excluded) and then transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled international flight to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to flight departure time. Meal plan: Breakfast.
Please note: standard rooms at Treetops include communal bathrooms and toilet facilities, upgrade to an en suite room on request and additional cost. Children under 5 not allowed at The Treetops. Children under 7 not allowed at Ark.
