Included is a visit to the Chimpanzee orphanage and a stay at the famous Ark with 3 viewing decks to observe the wildlife from the comfort of your hotel. Group departures are guaranteed with a minimum of 2 people. Each vehicle will only carry 7 people to guarantee a window seat to all. This does not apply to city transfers.
Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi
After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta Airport you are met and transferred to the respective Nairobi hotel. Use of room is not guaranteed before noon. The remainder of the day is spent at leisure. You will be transferred to the Carnivore restaurant at 7pm for dinner. Overnight at Norfolk Hotel (D).

- Bomas of Kenya (3 hours) at 2:30pm
- Karen Blixen, Giraffe Centre, Kazuri and Utamaduni (4 hours) at 2pm

- Animal orphanage or safari walk and Mamba village (3 hours) at 2pm
- Art trail (4 hours) at 10am
Day 2: Nairobi - Aberdares
Breakfast is at the hotel before driving to Mweiga for lunch at Aberdare Country Club. In the afternoon we take the Club shuttle vehicles, into Aberdare National Park and on to the Ark for a night of game viewing from the lodge precincts. Overnight at The Ark (FI).
Day 3: Aberdares - Sweetwaters
Early rise for breakfast at the camp before driving back to Aberdares Country Club where you rejoin your driver/ guide and depart for sweetwaters Game Sanctuary for lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. The afternoon is spent on a game viewing drive, with a visit to the tamed Morani Rhinoceros and the Chimpanzee Orphanage (subject to weather conditions as the black cotton soil on the Sanctuary is very firm during the dry weather and sometimes impassable during the rain season – rain may occur in the winter months around June to September). Overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp (FI).
Day 4: Sweetwaters – Mount Kenya
After breakfast we depart for the nearby Mount Kenya Safari Club. The remainder of the day is spent at leisure for optional activities available at the Club and payable direct. Optional activities: For those who wish to spend time relaxing at the Club, there are many recreational activities available such as horseback riding, golf, croquet, a putting green, a bowling green, table tennis, swimming, a beauty salon, an animal orphanage, fishing, bird watching and much more. Overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club (FI).
Day 5: Fly Mount Kenya - Maasai Mara
After breakfast we transfer to Nanyuki Airstrip for a scheduled light aircraft flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. On arrival at Ngerende airstrip, we are met and transferred to Mara Safari Club in a club vehicle. The afternoon is spent on a game viewing drive in club 4 x 4 vehicle (non exclusive use of vehicle). Overnight at Mara Safari Club (FI).
Day 6: Maasai Mara
Today is spent enjoying a morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve, with spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge or Keekorok Lodge (FI).
Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi and Depart
After a dawn game drive, we have breakfast at the Club before transferring to the airstrip for a scheduled light aircraft flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson Airport, you will be met and transferred to Norfolk Hotel (use of room is excluded). Later, transfer to the Airport for your scheduled international flight to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to flight departure time.
Please note: standard rooms at Treetops include communal bathrooms and toilet facilities, upgrade to an en suite room on request and additional cost. Children under 5 not allowed at The Treetops. Children under 7 not allowed at Ark.
