This trip takes you from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City in just ten days. Travel between the major highlights is covered by domestic flights where possible to maximize your touring days and to reduce the traveling time.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi. Arrive Ha Noi. Pick up and transfer to hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Ha Noi. (D)
Day 2: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Island. Early breakfast at the hotel, joining tour to Halong Bay: depart at 8:00am. 12:00 reaching Halong Bay. After lunch, afternoon is reserved for 4-hour boat trip to visit the bay. Transfer to Catba. Dinner in restaurant and Overnight in hotel in Catba. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong - Hanoi. Drive to visit Cat Ba National Park. Bathing at Cat Co Beach. Lunch. PM: Get hydrofoil to HaiPhong City. Drive back to Hanoi. Dinner and night in Hanoi. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Hanoi - Hue Flight. Pick up at the hotel and then transfer to the airpot for the flight VN243 (6:15 - 7:55). Pick up then transfer to hotel. Excursion in sampan on Perfume River. Thien Mu Pagoda, Hon Chien temple, TuDuc tomb, KhaiDinh tomb. Walk around Perfume River. Joint traditional Music show on boat. Overnight at hotel in Hue. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Hue - Danang - Hoi An. Depart by car or minbus to Hoian. On the way to Hoian stop in LangCo, the village of the fishermen and then have bathe in the beach. Visit HaiVan Pass, Cham Art Museum, Marble Mountain. After the lunch departure for HoiAn. Visit Hoian: Japanese Covered Bridge, TanKy Old house, Assembly Hall Chinese. PhucKien Pagoda, Hoian Museum and Market. Overnight at hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Visit Hoi An. Fullday visit Hoian: FucKien Pagoda, Hoia Museum, Japanese Covered Bridge, TanKy Old house, Assembly Hall of Cantonese Chinese Congregation, Hoian market. Overnight at hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Hoi An - Nha Trang Flight. From Hoi An we transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Vietnams premier beach city of Nha Trang. This afternoon we will visit the Po Nagar Cham Tower and the Oceanographic Institute. The remainder of the day is free to relax on the beach. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Nha Trang. Full day boat trip to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium, Hon Mun and Hon Tam Island. Sea-bathing in the blue water beach. You can also enjoy diving or snorkelling at the islands. Lunch on boat. Dinner at restaurant. Night in Nha Trang. (B, L, D)
Day 9: Nhatrang - Ho Chi Minh City Flight. Transfer to the airport by private car to take the flight VN335 (12:10 - 13:10). Pick up and take you to the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel. (B, L)
Day 10: Depart Ho Chi Minh City. Free time until transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight out of Vietnam. (B)
