Safari Madoadoa is also one that may be upgraded from its current 4 star rating to a 5 star rating. Highlights include a stay at the famous Treetops Lodges which never disappoints for prime game viewing. Group departures are guaranteed with a minimum of 2 people. Each vehicle will only carry 7 people to guarantee a window seat to all. This does not apply to city transfers.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi
After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta Airport you are met and transferred to the respective Nairobi hotel. Use of room is not guaranteed before noon. The remainder of the day is spent at leisure. You will be transferred to the Carnivore restaurant at 7pm for dinner. Overnight at Holiday Inn Mayfair or Jacaranda Hotel (D).

- Nairobi City tour (2 hours) at 10Am and 2pm
- Bomas of Kenya (3 hours) at 2:30pm
- Karen Blixen, Giraffe Centre, Kazuri and Utamaduni (4 hours) at 2pm
- Nairobi National Park (4 hours) at 9am and 2pm
- Animal orphanage or safari walk and Mamba village (3 hours) at 2pm
- Art trail (4 hours) at 10am
Day 2: Nairobi Samburu/Shaba
Breakfast is at the hotel before we drive via Karatina and cross the equator at Nanyuki en route to Samburu/ Shaba National Reserve. Lunch will be at the respective camp or lodge and the afternoon will be spent on a game viewing drive. Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge (FI).
Day 3: Samburu/Shaba
The day is spent on a morning and afternoon game drive in reserve. Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge (FI).
Day 4: Samburu/Shaba Aberdares
Breakfast is at the lodge before we drive to the Aberdares area, arriving in time for lunch at the Outspan Hotel. In the afternoon we will transfer in hotel shuttle vehicles into the Aberdare National Park and on to Treetops for a night of game viewing from the lodge precincts. Overnight at Treetops Lodge (FI).
Day 5: Aberdares Lake Nakuru
If your overnight was at Treetops, then the return shuttle transfer is to Outspan Hotel for breakfast. If your overnight was The Ark, then the return shuttle transfer is to Aberdares Country Club for breakfast. If your overnight was at Mount Kenya Safari Club, then you will have breakfast at the club before taking the shuttle back to Aberdares to rejoin the group. Rejoin your driver/ guide and depart for the Rift Valley arriving for lunch at a lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing and bird watching is enjoyed this afternoon. Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill (FI).
Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara
After breakfast you continue your safari west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective lodge or camp. This afternoon is spent on a game viewing drive. Overnight at Mara Sarova Lodge (FI).
Day 7: Maasai Mara
Today is spent enjoying a morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve, with spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. Overnight at Mara Sarova Lodge (FI).
Day 8: Maasai Mara Nairobi and Depart
After breakfast at the lodge or camp you will drive with you will be driven back to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon, you will be dropped off at the Holiday Inn Mayfair or Jacaranda Hotel (use of room is excluded) and then transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled international flight to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to flight departure time.
Please note: standard rooms at Treetops include communal bathrooms and toilet facilities, upgrade to an en suite room on request and additional cost. Children under 5 not allowed at The Treetops. Children under 7 not allowed at Ark.
