Our company is a project of the non-profit organization "INFO Nepal" run by Nepalese founders. It has been registered with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal since 2000. The founder’s original mission was to develop a range of challenging volunteer programs, that would benefit both the volunteers and the communities of Nepal. Since 2000, INFO Nepal has trained and deployed over 450 volunteers from 33 countries, to placements throughout Nepal.
In partnership with the local communities, INFO Nepal supports and sponsors projects like orphanages, libraries, Health Camps, Environmental and Informal Education Programs. INFO Nepal also maintains its own orphanage, the Happy Home Children Care House in Kathmandu.
We created our company to give more people the benefit of experiencing Nepal in a different way and also to generate more employment, income and cultural exchange for the Nepalese people.
Every program will be designed exclusively for the special needs and wishes of your group. The more we know about your interests the better, so that we will be able to design the right program to suit you. The program can be for: two weeks, three weeks, four weeks or six weeks.
How does the Program go?
- 8 days Language training - Staying at Hotel and Family
- 25 days Volunteering - Staying at Family
- 4 days Jungle activities - Staying at Hotel in Chitwan and one day staying at the Jungle on the tower
- 9 days trekking - Staying at Tea house
- Three days Rafting - Camping at the Beach
- 4 days traveling up and down
- 1 day feedback and good bye party
- 2 days break - Free days.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival - Welcome dinner with staff.
Days 2-9: Language training, Staying at Hotel and Family.
Days 10-35: Volunteering on the project, Staying at a local host Family.
Days 36-40: Jungle activities, Staying at Hotel in Chitwan and one day staying at the Jungle on the tower.
Days 41-49: Trekking, Staying at Tea house.
Days 50-52: Rafting, Camping at the beach.
Days 53-56: Traveling up and down.
Days 57-58: Free day.
Final Day: Feedback and good bye party.
Included:
- Transportation to and from Kathmandu Airport + Welcome dinner
- 8 days orientation on Language, Culture and project in two phase
- 8 major sight seen in Kathmandu such as Kathmandu Durbar square, Pashupatinath, Buddhanath, and Sayambhunath, Patan Durbar square, Budanilkantha, Dakhchhinkali and Bhaktapur (World heritage places) + Entrance fees as well
- Transport to and from the village placement to Kathmandu
- Accommodation and main meals during training period and placement
- four supervision by INFO staff to placement and volunteer
- Two times phone calls in a week
- Three days white water rafting in Trishuli River
- Chitwan National Park visit for 4 days - Elephant ride to see the one horn Rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tiger, canoeing , Elephants baby center, Tharu Cultural Dance, Tharu village true, Jungle walk, Jeep safari and 20 thousand Lake etc. ( Food and drink does not include)
- 7 days trekking to Annapurna region or Langtang + Pokhara stay
- One day Yoga and meditation in Pokhara
- Administration and Government tax
- Good bye dinner with a Nepali gift + last day accommodation in Kathmandu.
