Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival. Guide pick up at Hanoi Airport. Transfer to the city center of Hanoi, check-in in hotel, free time for the hidden charm of the old bustling quarter. Meet guide for dinner at a local restaurant. O/n at hotel. (D)
Day 2: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Overnight A Board Anh Duong junk. AM: Pick up at your hotel 8.00 AM. Head to Ha Long city, short break at tradition green bean cake shop in Hai Duong City (20 minutes). Continue to Ha long City. PM: Boat slowly cruising on Ha Long bay. Have lunch on boat.
Visit Sung Sot cave, swimming and enjoying bay views at Titop beach, limestone mountains, stalagmites, spending our time cruising among some of the 3,000 limestone islands that rise out of the sea. Enjoy seafood dinner. Spend a romantic night on boat. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi. AM: Breakfast. More cruising back another way to Ha Long city. Stop over at Titop islet with soft sandy beach for swimming and taking photographs. Have lunch in restaurant in Chay beach. PM: Return to Ha Noi, stop over at Hai Duong City.Check in the hotel, free evening. Overnight at hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 4: HanoI Night train to Hue. Discover the hidden charms of Ha noi city: Former respected Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, museum, stilt house and One Pillar Pagoda. Quan Thanh pagoda, "Nation Protection" Temple, Temple of Literature, then discover the famous “Hanoi Hilton” hotel - the former prison, back Ngoc Son temple for the highlight literature point, dinner and enjoy the unique water puppet show in the evening at the theater. Day 5: Hue Ancient Capital. Am : Arrive to Hue. Pick up and transfer to hotel. Check in time at 12h00. We visit the Citadel , former home to the emperors, and travel by dragon boat along the Perfume river to Thien Mu pagoda, then drive to the tombs of Emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. In the evening sample Hue’s amours cuisine. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Hue - Hoi An. We drive over spectacular Hai Van Pass to the Cham museum in Danang, then to the Marble Mountains where we explore caves and Buddhist shrines. Following a visit to nearby China Beach, we continue south to enchanting Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Hoi An - My Son. Morning boat ride on the Thu Bon River followed by walking tour of historic Hoi An. We follow narrow lanes with centuries old buildings influenced by Chinese, Japanese & European architecture. We also visit the town’s market and riverfront area. In the afternoon we head out to the 4th century Cham ruins at My Son. Overnight in Hoi An. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Hoi An - Da Nang - Nha Trang Flight. Am : Transfer to the airport for the flight to Nhatrang from Danang airport. city tour in Nha Trang. We see village life, rice fields and country Vietnam pass by at a gentle speed. Accommodation: (B, L, D)
Day 9: Nha Trang Island Tour. A day of leisure and indulgence as we cruise through pristine waters off Nha Trang. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and a fresh local seafood lunch. Return to Nha Trang mid afternoon for some free time to explore the town or swim at the main beach. Overnight in Nha Trang. (B, L, D).
Day 10: Nha Trang - Da Lat. Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Dalat. We ascend Ngoan Muc Pass to the central highlands and Da lat, a quaint hill station surrounded by pine forests and French villas. Stop for visit PongKrongGiarai Cham tower. Lunch and diner at the restaurant. Overnight at hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 11: Da Lat. We see Vietnam’s most colorful market, meet unusual local artists and cycle or walk to a picturesque lake and enjoy a short train ride through the surrounding villages. The rest of the day is free to relax where the climate is cooler and you will have a chance to recharge batteries after 2 weeks on the road. (B, L, D)
Day 12: Da Lat - Mui Ne Beach (Phan Thiet). Departure for Phanthiet and across shrimp breeding fields, arrive in Phanthiet and then leisure. Phanthiet is well-known for its white sand beaches with many mountains and forests. Overnight at hotel. Meal: lunch and dinner at restaurant. (B, L, D)
Day 13: Mui Ne Beaches. Breakfast at hotel, enjoy the beach at sunrise, free bathing with sun and white sand at the resort, visit the famous moving sand-hill of Phan Thiet. Visit Poshanu Cham Towerl. Night at the resort. Lunch at the restaurant. Diner is your choice today. (B, L)
Day 14: Mui Ne Beach - Ho Chi Minh city. After breakfast, heading to Ho Chi Minh City, enjoy the scenery on the way, greenfields, stopover the traditional villages for local product like sweet candy, Coconut candy, rice - paper cake. Check in hotel, free to discover the city at night. (B, L, D)
Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City. Today’s walking tour takes us up famous Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) past the theatre, Rex Hotel, Town Hall, and Notre Dame Cathedral. We visit the former Presidential Palace and the War Crimes Museum and then drive to bustling (Chinatown). Visit Binh Tay, the huge wholesale market and the ornate Thien Hau temple before returning to the hotel. Spend the afternoon as you wish. (B, L, D)
Day 16: Hochiminh - Cuchi. This morning we visit the famous Vietcong tunnels at Cu Chi. Covering nearly 250km, they were shelter to over 16,000 communist guerillas during the war. You will have the chance to crawl through some of the tunnels before returning to Saigon mid afternoon. Overnight at hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 17: Ho Chi Minh city – Vinh Long - Can Tho. Have breakfast at hotel. 8h00 Travel deep into the lush Mekong Delta, Have a motorized boat ride to see round Cai Be Floating Market with local people being selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boats. Walk around to see orchard, rice paper making, rice crispies producing process.
Stop for a rest, a free Vietnamese lunch including tropical fruits. Boat through a village to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admired marverlous natural setting of Mekong Delta region and spend the day in the rice bowl of Vietnam and one of the most industrious parts of South East Asia. We stay in the main provincial town of Can Tho, a short walk from the busy waterside market. Accommodation (B, L, D).
Day 18: Can Tho - Chau Doc. This morning board your boat for a visit to the fascinating floating market at Cai Rang. See local farmers trading their produce on the water as they have done for cent urines. We then travel deeper into the Mekong Delta with a unique opportunity to discover a side of Delta life few tourists experience.
On arrival in Chau Doc visit the floating fish farms, then Sam Mountain for sunset with its breathtaking views over rice paddies to the Cambodian border. Accommodation (B, L, D).
Day 19: Chau Doc - Ho Chi Minh. A full day journey by boat and bus through the Mekong Delta to bustling Saigon. Tonight share a farewell dinner with your fellow travelers. Overnight in Saigon. (B, L, D)
Day 20: Departure. You will be transferred to the airport for departure. (B)
