Day 1: The tour will begin at 9 :00 a.m. The guide will pick you up from your Hotel and take to various cultural tourism sites . That is, Kasubi Tombs, Bahai temple, Namugongo shrine, take lunch and then you will be driven to Ssezibwa falls and if there is still more time the guide will take youto Jinja to encounter the source of the River Nile (the longest river In Africa) and Bujagali Falls OR visit to the nearby Entebbe Botanical Gardens, which harbor a multitude of interesting birds, or the Entebbe Wildlife Center and later transfer you back to Kampala for Dinner and overnight (Lunch).
Day 2: Take breakfast as you get prepared for the drive to Murchison falls National Park. On arrival at Paraa lodge after crossing the Nile, enjoy an afternoon in swimming after the long journey. Dinner and overnight at the Paraa Lodge, Sambiya River Lodge or Red Chillis camp.
Day 3: Indulge in an early morning game drive to the Victoria Nile delta in search for a variety of animals. It is the only park with Giraffes in Uganda. Come back to the lodge and take lunch as you get prepared for the launch Cruise along the mighty River Nile. Dinner and overnight at the Paraa Lodge, Sambiya River Lodge or Red Chillis camp. (FB)
Day 4: Greet the early morning sun and cross the ferry for the long drive to Kibaale Forest national Park. Drive through the Albertaine Escarpment of the western Rift valley on the Masindi-Hoima-Fort portal road. This will be a long drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal, passing the lush countryside and traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the Fabled Mountains of the Moon, This journey is long and it takes at least eight hours of driving. Dinner and overnight at the Rwenzori View Guest House, Elevated en suite bandas, Sky tree house or Mainaro Guest house.
Day 5: In the morning after breakfast, we shall drive to Kibale Forest N/ P, for primate viewing. The activity starts at 8.00 a.m. in the morning. A half day search for Chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-Colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabeys swingin through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forests fauna and flora, ensuring that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and primates in close quarters. A visit to Bigodi swamp eco-tourism site is amazing, as we shall encounter rare and beautiful flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight at the Rwenzori View Guest House, Elevated ensuite bandas, Sky tree house or Mainaro Guest house.
Days 6: The guide will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National park. Take an afternoon game drive around the crater region of the park. Take a visit to Lake Katwe where salt is mined and the Kasenyi landing site on the shores of Lake George. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology.
Day 7: Very early in the morning indulge in a game drive to spot various Animals Elephants, Buffalo, warthogs, hyena, lion name it return to the lodge after the game drive as you wait for the afternoon launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel which offers you opportunity to view various aquatic animals i.e. Hippos, crocodile, and a variety of Bird species. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology.
Days 8: After a cup of coffee, Embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to see Lions, elephants, cape buffalo, warthogs, leopard, hyena, mangoose, waterbucks, kobs, and lots many small animals and birds. After the game drive, proceed to Bwindi via Maramagambo and Ishasha sector. As you drive along the road via Ishasha sector, animals such as the waterbucks, elephant, antelopes, buffalo, kobs, can be seen along the road. Relax around the Forest camp. Dinner and over night at L. Kitandara Camp or Buhoma community bandas.
Day 9: There is an early morning entry into a gorilla sanctuary. The rainforest is spectacular as it offers a dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. Recorded mammals here include the endangered mountain gorilla, the rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephants, black-fronted duikers, bushbucks, leopards, giant forest hogs as well as other animals. This Park is best known for the fascinating gorillas, where the time taken and Terrain varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates.
The thrill of spending time with and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with each other. Dinner and over night at L. Kitandara Camp or Buhoma community bandas.
Day 10: We drive up to the mountainous spine of the Bwindi National Park into Rwanda, then continue through volcanic uplands to Kinigi, Headquarters of Parc National des Volcans (Volcanoes National Park). Here we have more outstanding views of the Virunga Volcano range the heartland of the mountain gorilla.
Days 11: You will get to track gorillas. Four family groups of gorillas are open to the public, and each lives in a very different part of the park. After an encounter these gentle giants with 2 silver backs , you might be forced to believe that it is exhilarating!
Day 12: Drive through the scenic countryside of Rwanda to the nations capital, Kigali. You will have time to shop some souvenirs for commemoration. Relax in Kigali then after you will be transferred back to the airport for departure on homeward-bound flights via Entebbe or Nairobi.
