Spectacular wildlife and rich cultural diversity. More than any other African country, Kenya epitomizes the image of Africa. The vast plains that make up the Masai Mara and the panorama of Mount Kilimanjaro are the images of Africa that most travelers have in their minds, and is the home of the traditional 'African Safari' as immortalized by Hemingway, Roosevelt, Finch-Hatton and others. Kenya, as well as being home to many different ethnic groups, has a wonderfully varied landscape that includes a part of Africa's famous Great Rift Valley as well as plateaus and high mountains. The Masai Mara is world-renowned for its spectacular wildlife throughout the year. The Mara is however not the only reserve, with Samburu, Meru, Amboseli, Tsavo, Aberderes, Mt. Kenya, the Great Rift Valley and Lake Victoria offering fantastic experiences of Africa.
Our tour takes you to two of East Africa's most diverse wildlife areas - the Masai Mara and Samburu National Park. With your own private vehicle and guide you will experience the countryside first hand, taking the opportunity to meet the people as you travel via Lake Nakuru and Mount Kenya on the way to Samburu, visit a private chimpanzee sanctuary and end with 4 days in the renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. Tour extensions include Amboseli & Meru National Parks or Lake Victoria (see below for more details).
