The main reception area of Paperbark Lodge is open-fronted, giving a magnificent vista across a gorge onto a waterhole framed by the soft blue-green undulations of the Waterberg mountains.
Each of the five suites is its own special paradise. Styled and finished to their unique character, the suites all enjoy total privacy and have spectacular views of the waterholes or gorge, even from the retreat of the outside shower or heated rock-pool.

Your Itinerary:
Day 1-5: Paperbark Lodge, Waterberg
You will be flown to Welgevonden Nature Reserve by private charter, collected at the air strip and transferred to Paperbark Lodge, where you will book into your luxury suite. Your days will be spent enjoying morning and afternoon Game Drives to view the impressive Big 5 in the reserve, taking informative Bush Walks or just relaxing at the Wellness Centre enjoying pamper sessions.

A variety of game visits the lodge on a regular basis, and sightings from the deck are commonplace. In addition, for those interested, the Reserve boasts two Bushman painting sites, which are reached by a short walk from the road.
