Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Lhasa
Meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Lhasa. Rest for altitude acclimatization. o/n hotel in Lhasa.

Day 2: Lhasa
We may start from the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism - Jokhang Temple and the bustling Barkhor Street around it. In the afternoon, we'll visit the most beautiful splendor in Tibet - Potala Palace, the symbol of Tibetan people's wisdom and power. o/n hotel in Lhasa. Includes: (B).

Day 3: Lhasa
Today we'll visit two great monasteries - Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. And at evening, pay a visit to a local Tibetan family. o/n hotel in Lhasa. Includes: (B).

Day 4: Lhasa-Gyantse-Shigatse
In the fresh morning air, we'll drive about 270km to the historical town of Gyantse crossing Karola Pass (5010m) and Khambala Pass (4800m) with a beautiful panorama of the beautiful Yamdrok Yumtso Lake. Upon arrival, visit the famous Pelkor Monastery and its superb Kumbu Stupa. Then we'll get forward to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. o/n hotel in Shigatse. Includes: (B).

Day 5: Shigatse-Shegar
Visit the foremost attraction in Shigatse - Tashilumpo Monastery and drive about 250km to Shegar (Tingri) via the Gantsola Pass (5200m). o/n hotel in Shegar. Includes: (B).

Day 6: Shegar-Mt. Everest Base Camp
Drive about 100km to Rongbuk Monastery and Mt. Everest Base Camp (EBC) for the life-long experience with the highest mountain in the world..you can hike the 8km from Rongbuk to the Base Camp for about 2hrs. o/n guest house at Mt. Everest reserve. Includes: (B).

Day 7: Mt. Everest Base Camp-Zhangmu
Enjoy the early morning view of Mt. Everest and drive about 280km to the interesting border town of Zhangmu. On the way, you could enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayan Range. o/n hotel in Zhangmu. Includes: (B).

Day 8: Zhangmu-Kathmandu. On this last day we’ll drive you to the Friendship Bridge (Kodari) where you are supposed to go through the China Customs. You can get shuttle / bus eaily there to Kathmandu (we also have no problem to arrange private transport if necessary).Your wonderful overland tour of Lhasa-Mt. Everest-Kathmandu ends.
