Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Lhasa
Accommodation: New Mandala Hotel or Similar if late booking
Our Tibetan English-speaking tour guide will meet you at Gonggar Airport and greet you with a white scarf (called kada) in a Tibetan traditional way. Then transfer you to your hotel in Lhasa (about 100km’s driving). Upon arrival, just take rest for high altitude acclimatization.
Day 02: Sightsee in Lhasa
Accommodation: New Mandala Hotel or Similar [B]
We'll start from the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism - Jokhang Temple. Around it is the famous bustling Barkhor Street where you can get a close touch with local Tibetans.
In the afternoon, we'll visit the most beautiful splendor in Tibet - Potala Palace, the symbol of Tibetan people's wisdom and power.
Day 03: Sightsee in Lhasa
Accommodation: New Mandala Hotel or Similar [B]
Today's we'll visit the Norbulinka, the summer palace of Dalai Lama and the Sera Monastery where you could see the interesting "Buddhism Scriptures Debating" between Lamas.
And in the evening, pay a visit to a local Tibetan family.
Day 04: Lhasa Surround Area (Drak Yerpa)
Accommodation: New Mandala Hotel or Similar [B]
In the fresh morning air, we'll get to the beautiful Yerpa Valley for the Zayepa Caves which were once selected by many famous Lamas for practicing meditation..We may do some trekking in the valley and visit some villages there as well.
Day 05: Trupu Monastery / Yangpancheng Hot Spring)
Accommodation: New Mandala Hotel or Similar [B]
Drive about 70km to Trupu Monastery and then get forward to the famous Yangpancheng Hot Spring.
Day 06: Leave [B]
The tour guide will transfer you to Gonggar Airport and help you board the plane to your next destination. Your wonderful Lhasa Valley exploration tour ends.

Including:
1) Comfortable Accommodation (3-star hotel in Lhasa);
2) One 4WD Toyota 4500 Land Cruiser with an experienced driver;
3) A Tibetan English-speaking tour guide;
4) All necessary Tibet permits;
5) Breakfasts at all places;
6) Entrance tickets of sightseeing places mentioned in the itinerary;
Excluding:
1) tour guide and driver’s tips;
2) private expenses like IDD calls, laundry, etc.;
3) wire transfer fee if any.
Please kindly note that meals (lunch and dinner) usually can be arranged easily yourselves thus you can choose any food/restaurant you like and have more free time. The tour guide and driver can always help if necessary. If leave it to us, it costs around 50CNY/p.p for a lunch or dinner.
