This trip links Australia's two biggest cities. On this journey we drive along the beautiful New South Wales south coast, with its superb beaches and quaint villages, and up the rainforested escarpment into the southern highlands. We travel over the Snowy Mountains where we walk to the top of the country's highest mountain (not a big walk but a fabulous view!). We picnic in Snowy River country amongst the mobs of Grey Kangaroos, and explore magnificent forests of Mountain Ash Eucalyptus regnans, the world's tallest flowering plant. We meet up with the Djuwin, the traditional custodians of this country and hear of their experiences and their stories.
