Drive 125 km north of Mombasa to holiday resort of Malindi. It was in Malindi that Vasco Da Gama landed in 1498 to discover the sea route to India. Enroute visit the ancient ruins of Gedi, a 17th century city. Next, a visit to Marine Park to view tropical fish and underwater coral gardens in a glass bottomed boat. Swimsuits and strong beach shoes are necessary when getting off the boat. Lunch at beach hotel and on hotel and continue your tour with a visit to the Snake Park and falconry. Return to Mombasa in the early evening.
