Next to Solu and Khumbu, another hub of Sherpa community is Helambu. The villages like Tarke Ghyang and Sermathang are excellent places where one can see Sherpa life up close and personal. This easy and enjoyable trek starts with a scenic half an hour drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal and provides an instant Himalayan journey for those who have limited time and want to combine other activities within Nepal, like City tours, White water rafting, Wildlife safari. This trip concludes with a drive down via Panchkhal after overnight camp at Melamche Pool.

Days 4: Trek to Kutumsang.
Days 5: Trek to Thadepati (3510 m).
Days 6: Trek to Tarkeygyang.
Days 7: Rest day at Tarkeygyang.
Days 8: Trek to Sarmathang.
Days 9: Trek to Melamche Pool. Overnight at Lodge.
Days 10: Drive to Ktm. Overnight at hotel.
