Your Itinerary

Day 1: Airport Transfer

Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to a lovely Costa Rican hotel where we will have time for introductions and a general explanation of the upcoming days

Day 2: Caribbean Coast

After breakfast, we will transfer, via the Turrialba Volcano area, to the Southern Caribbean Coast. Two nights lodging at Punta Cocles Beach. Possible Activities: Rafting, Hiking

Day 3 : Caribbean Coast

Cultural Night in the town of Puerto Viejo. Possible Activities: Snorkeling, Bicycling, Birding, Hiking.

Day 4: Sarapiqui

Lodging in Rain Forest Reserve. Possible Activities: Horseback Riding, Canopy, Swimming, Birding.

Day 5: Arenal Area

Morning Birding. After breakfast transfer to Arenal/La Fortuna area, site of the impressive, active Arenal Volcano. Visit to Ecotermales Hot Springs. Two nights lodging in Arenal. Possible Activities: Boating, Water Skiing, Horseback Riding, Bicycling

Day 6: La Fortuna And Areana Volcano Area

Possible Activities: Canoeing, Sky Tram/Canopy, Hanging Bridges

Day 7: Manuel Antonio Area

Transfer to Manuel Antonio National Park/Beach Area. Two nights lodging in Manuel Antonio. Possible Activities: Kayaking, Hiking, Snorkeling, Surfing, Swimming

Day 8: Manuel Antonio Area

Visit to Manuel Antonio National Park. On a hike through this unique Transitional Forest, we can observe species considered rare in other natural areas — the Three-Toed Sloth, Coatimundi, an Squirrel Monkey. Possible Activities: Sea Kayaking

Day 9: Return To San Jose

Transfer to San Jose. Farewell Dinner. Lodging in El Refugio de los Artistas.

Day 10: Transfer To The Airport

Extended Stays Can Be Arranged.

$1875 for 2007 trip ($1990 for 2008 trip) includes all meals, double occupancy lodging, (single supplement $325), airport pick-up and return, services of an experienced guides, local transportation, and group excursions.
