Tour Itinerary:
Day 1:
We depart from Lusaka about 09:00 for the transfer to Chirundu. Here we meet our boat for our cruise down river to the first night's campsite. We値l stop for lunch on an island in the Zambezi before arriving at Mvuu Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River and our camp. Here we are free to relax for a couple of hours, either sitting by the pool, in the bar or just watching the river. At about 16:00 we go on a Sunset Boat Cruise; we値l be able to observe, amongst other things, lots of Hippos, Crocs and Fish Eagles (Zambia痴 National Bird), not to mention our beautiful African Sunsets. Returning to the camp for dinner around the campfire
Day 2:
After an early start and a cooked breakfast, we listen to a safety briefing for our 1-day canoe safari down the Zambezi. The canoe safari is a highlight of the trip with lunch on one of the Zambezi islands and the possibility of sighting large herds of Buffalo and Elephant as well as many Hippos, Crocs and other animals. In the late afternoon we値l paddle into our second night痴 camp our purpose built bush camp overlooking the Zambezi River and Mana Pools National Park, just outside the border of the Lower Zambezi National Park.
Day 3:
We are up early today to spend the entire day in the park. We値l take all our meals with us, so after coffee and tea we set off into the park where we will try and find the predators before the temperature rises too much. We will have breakfast at a nice quiet spot in the park before heading off to look for the other animals. On our way to the lunch spot, we should find plenty of the grazing animals also Elephants and Buffalo.
Lunch is set in a beautiful spot on the banks of the Zambezi, we値l spend a couple of hours here out of the heat just relaxing and watching the game as they come down to drink from the river. After lunch we do an afternoon game drive, the cool of the afternoon is a good time to spot the predators as they prefer to hunt in the cooler parts of the day. Arriving at a great sundowner spot, where we値l sample some Amarula, a delicious liquor made from the African Marula Tree.
After a short rest and some snacks we値l depart for our first Night drive inside the Lower Zambezi National park keeping our eyes open for the night hunters, such as Lion and Leopard as well as many other nocturnals such as Porcupine, Civet and Genet, returning back to our camp for a delicious dinner.
Day 4:
Up early again today as this is our walking day. After a light breakfast we head of to collect our Game Scout, before arriving at a nice, safe spot for our walk. This is not hard strenuous hiking but pleasurable 2 or 3 hour game walk. Here is our chance to learning more about spore, droppings, flora and fauna as well as keeping our eyes open for the numerous game that visit the area. We return to the campsite for lunch and the rest of the day is free before we depart on the afternoon drive at about 15:00. Returning to the campsite for a final meal under the African night痴 sky.
Day 5:
This is our last morning in camp, you can either rise early and go on another game walk, or lie in and relax. We will leave the camp at about 11:00, stopping at an island for lunch. We should arrive back in Lusaka by about 17:00. Accommodation is in dome safari tents with beds and mattresses provided. Included are all park fees, food and camping equipment. We will supply mineral water, filtered drinking water and limited house wine with dinner
Not included: Soft drinks and beers, items of a personal nature, like towels and toiletries. Transfers to and from the point of departure for the trip, unless pre arranged by your agent

This is an all inclusive price, covering:
- All camping and cooking equipment, but excluding sleeping bags.
- A sunset cruise on day one.
