Birds are love. We will take you to the different destinations to spot almost all the endemic birds of the country. You will also see the common birds of Africa and migratory birds from Europe. Water birds, eagles, king fishers, Turaco, so many. You will be given a professional bird watcher and all the necessary facilities such as camping gears, four wheel drive.

Ethiopia's Rift Valley lakes support an amazing variety of bird species. The country's geographical diversity has enabled her for the enjoyment of so diverse and so colorful birds. Ethiopia boasts 862 bird species, of which 17 are considered endemic, and 13 are semi-endemic. Whether in the highland forests or plateau, near the lakes, or in the lowlands, Ethiopia is really a paradise for bird watchers.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa; welcomed by our representative. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight hotel.

Day 2: Addis Ababa to Langano. Drive to Langano, en route birding at Debre Zeit, Lake Zway and Langano. Overnight hotel.

Day 3: Langano to Awasa. Today we spend the full day at Lake Abiatta, and Lake Awasa. Overnight hotel.

Day 4: Awasa to Wendo Genet. Birding at Lake Awassa and Wondo Genet. Overnight hotel.

Day 5: Wendo Genet to Bale Mountains. Passing through the farmlands of Southeast Ethiopia, we will stop at different places to see endemic birds of Ethiopia. Overnight Goba Wabishebele hotel (3 nights).

Day 6: Bale Mountains. Birding in Bale Mountains National Park. Overnight hotel.

Day 7: Bale Mountains - Sanetti Plateau - Goba. Birding at Sanetti Plateau. Overnight hotel.

Day 8: Goba to Sodere. Drive to Sodere and spot some birds in the hotel compound. Overnight hotel.

Day 9: Sodere to Awash National Park. Today we drive to Awash National Park and spot some birds. Overnight hotel (2 nights).

Day 10: Awash National Park. Birding in Awash National Park. Overnight hotel.

Day 11: Awash - Addis Ababa - Departure. We will drive back to Addis Ababa be transferred to the airport for final departure.
