Traveling on 4WD vehicle, on mule, or by foot in a surrounding route leaving from Merida city, going through the farmhand landscapes, traditional settings, humble farms, semi-deserted zones, wilderness settings and cloudy forests, all in a 3 days/2 nights tour for all ages.
Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Starting the day with a 4WD transportation through El Morro oasis, to arrive to Los Nevados at 2.700 m, requires experienced driver who know the road. The adventure starts here! Arrive to Los Nevados, walk around the village, meet its people and traditions. This place looks like a town growing in the heart mountain. Staying in Typical Posadas. Day 2: After a warm and typical breakfast, we take a mule ride during 4 hours to Alto La Cruz (4.200 m), getting a wonderful view of the Bolivar Peak. Walking down hill, during two hours to Los Calderones valley (3.500m). Where we spend the night in posada Pedro. Day 3: Today we continue walking 4 hours, this time going to Mucunután, with beautiful landscapes, getting closer to Mérida. This cloud forest path encloses a variety of birds and vegetation, colorful flowers, bromelias and orchids. After we take the 4WD to the city, visiting the Principal Market, having a typical lunch, and the opportunity to buy some handicrafts, and delight your senses with all the fresh fruits, and vegetables cultivated in the zone.
