A/h assistance and early transfer to Estanques (45 min), (village at the end of Chama river’s eroded canyon), to see the amazing transition between desert and rainforest on the way to the town of Canaguá. This is a road that climbs from 400 mts. above sea level to almost 3000 mts at the top of the Páramo El Molino. The road goes through cactus enviroment, deciduous rainforest, clouded forest & paramo. Picnic breakfast and full day of birding (Squirrel Cuckoo, Bay-headed Tanager, Flame-faced Tanager, Saffron-headed Tanager, Lineated Woodpecker, Spot-breasted Woodpecker, White-lined Tanager, Red-crowned ant-Tanager, Scaled pigeon, Mockingbird, Striped-backed wren, Rufous-breasted Wren, Yellow-billed Toucanet, Strong-billed Woodcreeper, Troupial, Goldengreen Woodpecker).
