Your Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Jordan. Qaia – Amman

On arrival to QAIA Amman our group coordinator and Airport representative will meet and assist the group through all customs and immigration procedures. Followed by 33 km transfer by deluxe air-conditioned tourist bus to hotel in Amman. Check-in and freshen-up followed by overnight Amman.

Day 2: A Day of Contrasts. Jerash – Ajloun – Umm Qais - Amman overnight

A full Buffet Breakfast at the hotel 8:00 am departure from hotel for full day excursion. Drive to Jerash 45 Km from Amman, through the pine forests and olive groves until we reach the Greece- Roman city, a fully -guided tour takes in the colonnaded street, of Jerash the Bombay of the east. Visiting the oval plaza area, theatres, colonnaded streets, Temple of Artemis and Zeus and a complex of churches. Afterwards back to bus station for transfers to the mighty Saracen Castle of Ajloun 24km from Jerash. Qalat Rabadh Or the AJloun Castle, is an Islamic fort built high on a hill with a magnificent vista of the entire Jordan Valley below.

The castle was built from 1184-1185AD and one of the very few Islamic castles built to protect the country against Crusader attacks. Afterwards transfer north to Umm Qais (Old Gadara) dating back to 2nd century AD, colonnaded streets, and amphitheaters, churches, temples and the vast Roman forum. Viewing the North of Jordan and the Golan Heights and Tayberias Lake from 1500 M above Sea level.

Afterwards continuo driving down through Jordan Valley (or the Great Syrian African Rift ) Cleaves the length of the country, and forms a natural boundary to the west it is actually part of the Great Rift valley , which carves a passage further southwards through East Africa driving along the Yarmok River of Jordan among the farms of Jordan, the most green part of the country evening transfer to Amman for freshen-up followed by overnight at hotel.

Day 3: The Secrets Of The Mobabites Mountains. Mount Nebo – Madaba – Dead Sea - Dana overnight

A full buffet breakfast at hotel. 08:00 am check-out of hotel and departure for full day excursion - a trip through the historical Mountains of Moa'ab. Stop over in Mount Nebo (40 min drive) from Amman, tour of the site of the tomb of Moses. From here Moses viewed the remised Land in Canaan, and where he died and was buried in a nearby valley. Here there are ruins of 4th and 6th c. churches whose floors are still covered with marvelous mosaic floor.

Afterwards follow the footsteps of Moses to Madaba. 10 min drive from Mount Nebo, this town has a long history, being first mentioned in the Bible and in the Mesha Stele when it was a Moabite town, visit St. George orthodox Christian church the mosaic Map of Jerusalem, Palestine, Jordan, Israel & Egypt. Madaba is famous as a land of mosaics. Afterwards transfer to Dead Sea for swimming and relaxation at the Dead Sea beach, then transfer via the kings highway to Wadi Dana, Check-in at hotel then dinner and overnight Dana Village.

What is The Dana village Hotel? A stay at the Dana hotel is a completely unique experience. As you are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Wadi and lavished with traditional Arab hospitality, prepare your self to share a cub of tea with locals.

Hotel offers 500 years of living tradition the village overlooks sunsets and natural canyon land escape as far as the eye can see. The village is quaint and small home to 40 families who continue to live a simple lifestyle. The homes of Dana are original remnants of the area's first settled inhabitants and are closely centered about the community mosque.

Day 4: Dana – Petra. On The Steps of Wadi Dana, 5-6hrs hiking Wadi Dana, overnight Petra

After breakfast at Dana hotel we follow a spectacular blend of mountains and desert landscapes, as well as an extraordinary botanic diversity, make Dana nature reserve one of its kind the reserve stretches over 300 sq. km from the edge of Edom plateau down to the Araba valley, its altitudes vary with short distances from 1,650m above sea level to 150m below, creating different climatic conditions and habitats. The reserve is dissected by deep canyons, winding below lofty sandstone massifs with overwhelming views.

The white sandstone at the reserve is sculpted into domes and valleys blanketed by vegetation. To date, 700 species of plants have been recorded in the reserve as well as 200 birds and 36 mammals. The big mammals, though rare, include Nubian ibex (wild mountain goat) wolf, golden jackal, striped hyena and red fox. The botanic diversity of Dana combines Mediterranean, desert (saharo Arabian), steppe (Irano-Turania) and subtropical (sudanian) plants. Trees includes red juniper, Oak, pistachio. Oleander, brooms Acacia, cypress, all from the Mediterranean zone. Afternoon transfer to Petra, for overnight hotel Petra.

Day 5: The Rose Red City Adventure, Petra, overnight Petra

A full Buffet Breakfast at hotel 8:00 am departure to Petra for a full day trip to explore the rose red city,) including the Siq, the Treasury, City center, the Royal tomb, the theatre, the High Place, afternoon Walk back through the Siq, then to hotel in Petra for freshen-up and overnight hotel Petra.

Day 6: Following the Footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia. Little Petra - Wadi Rum overnight Camping

A Full buffet Breakfast at the hotel in Petra, morning visit to little Petra. Nabatean caravan station, after lunch transfer to Wadi Rum, the Valley of the Moon. Here you will find adventure and feel the romance of the Arabian desert. Wadi Rum is like a moonscape of ancient valleys and towering weathered sandstone mountains rising out of white and pink colored sands.

Upon arrival to Wadi Rum, a jeep tour to explore Lawrence Road, visiting the most spectacular sights of Wadi Rum. We will view sand dunes, graffiti, inscriptions and canyons as well as having races through the dry oasis. Exploring the most interesting and exiting sites of Wadi Rum Sunset tour ending at Wadi Umm Eshreen, followed by transfer to Camp, Bedouin camp! Dinner: B-B-Q buffet dinner. Traditional authentic Bedouin dinner, overnight camping Wadi Rum under the stars includes all camping equipment.

Day 7: Wadi Rum – Aqaba, overnight Aqaba

Breakfast at the camp! Free morning for hiking in Wadi Rum, then transfer to Aqaba for free time, swim and relax, check-in at hotel overnight Aqaba.

Day 8: Aqaba - Amman for Departure

Breakfast at the hotel, early Departure to QAIA for Departure.
