All this orchids, plants, rainforest and stones, is going to shake your imagination, spectacular landscapes, with giant stones formations, you will start to find different shapes in its formations, visit the top, camp in amazing caves, hear during the night legends drifting on the wind. Explore the paradise for nature lovers, arrive in to the quartz valley, and to El Abismo, these places are breathtaking. Its like being in a different world, the surface with a black color, space waiting for foreign steps, lands belongs to nature, no light pollution, no city sounds, just lay down in your sleeping bag and enjoy the stars, rest on the mother land, the most ancient lands on the planet, and feel the energy.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Santa Elena - Gran Sabana (The Lost World). We leave Santa Elena early in the morning and drive for about 2 hours until we reach the Paraytepui Indian Village (1600 meters above sea level). This will be our trekking starting point. Walk for about 5 hours, through open savannah until we reach the Kukenan camp at 1050 meters. Before reaching the camp, we will cross two rivers which can be a bit tricky at times especially after a rainfall! Nevertheless, our experienced guides will help you overcome these challenges. Overnight at Kekenan camp. Includes: (D).

Day 2: Gran Sabana (The Lost World). After breakfast, we start a 5 hour hike to our base camp (1870 m). The walk will require a 2 hour uphill hike. Along the way, enjoy the view of beautiful landscapes covered with pretty small carnivorous plants and orchids. Late that afternoon, take some time to enjoy the colors of the sunset reflected on the Roraima walls. Overnight at our base camp. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 3: Gran Sabana (The Lost World). Today is an exciting day. You will get a chance to touch the Roraima wall! Plenty vegetation will guide your steps. We will start with a 2 hour challenging trek. Along the way, you will get the chance to freshen up in a small waterfall, and be amazed by the beauty and the overwhelming number of bromeliads, ferns and other rare plants. The path will leads us through the jungle and over stones of different forms and shapes. Stones looking like sea turtles or dragonheads will welcome you at the top (2700 m). A light lunch will be served at the camp. Enjoy the erst of the afternoon discovering the area around the camp. The evening will end with a delicious meal served by our guides. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 4: Gran Sabana (The Lost World). Today we will spend the day discovering the mystical top of the Roraima and feeling the magic related to the mountain. We will find thousands of faces and sculptures in bizarre stone formations. We will be amazed by the valley of crystals and the fantastic view from the top of Roraima to the valley. When the fog rises up the mountain we will feel the mystery. Do not be surprised when you feel like you are walking on the moon because the surface looks just alike. A light lunch will be given on the way and a delicious meal will be served at the camp in the evening. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 5: Gran Sabana (The Lost World). After breakfast we start our descent to our campsite at Tök River. We leave the ancient-world. Today we have to walk about 7 hours downhill (from 2700 m. to 1050 m.). Right before arriving at the camp, we will have to cross the same rivers we crossed the first day. A light lunch will be served on the way and once we arrive at our camp, a warm meal will be awaiting for us. By the end of the day, enjoy a swim in the river with a fabulous views of the Kukenan and Roraima mountains. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 6: Gran Sabana (The Lost World) - Santa Elena. Today we walk 4 hours until we reach the Paraitepuy Indian village. Our jeeps will be waiting for us with cold drinks and lunch. After lunch we will retune to Santa Elena. If the group agrees, there will be a short stop at the Quebrada de Jaspe with its brilliant red shining Jaspe stones. Includes: (B, L).
