The program, which is suitable for women of all ages, gives visitors the chance to meet all kinds of Jordanian women from various backgrounds including Christian, Muslim and Bedouin.
Perhaps you will discover the mysteries behind the burqa (face-mask) or the secrets of good yoghurt-making. This tour will provide you with an insider understanding of the women of the Middle East while it contributes to supporting their community advancement.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Jordan
Our representative will meet and assist upon arrival to Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) Amman. Our group coordinator will assist you through all costumes and immigration procedures, passport formalities and Visa handling, welcomed by guides followed by transfer to Amman (33 km from airport) for check-in & overnight hotel Amman.
Day 2: A Day Of Contrasts (Ajloun - Jerash – Amman) 145 KM.
After breakfast in hotel Late departure by bus, through the pine forests and olive groves until we reach the City of Ajloun dominated by the imposing fortress of Qa'lat Al Rabat overlooking the Jordan Valley. It was from this location that the forces of Saladin launched their successful campaigns against the Crusaders. Afterwards drive to Jerash 24 Km from Ajloun! Visit the splendidly preserved Greco-Roman city of Jerash, the most complete remaining city of the Decapolis. It is also known as the Pompeii of the east.
The history of Jerash is a blend of the Greco-Roman world of the Mediterranean basin and the ancient traditions of the Arab Orient. Indeed, the name of the city itself reflects this interaction. The earliest Arab/Semitic inhabitants, who lived in the area during the pre-classical period of the first Millennium BC named their village Garshu. The Romans later Hellenised the former Arabic name of Garshu into Gerasa, and the Bible refers to "the region of the Gerasenes" (Mark 5:1; Luke 8:26). At the end of the 19th century, the Arab and Circassian inhabitants of the small rural settlement transformed the Roman Gerasa into the Arabic Jerash. Returning to our hotel in Amman for freshen-up dinner and O/N Amman.
Day 2 Includes:
~ Tour of Jearsh site & Ajloun Castle
~ Tour of handicraft centers for women, sponsored by the Queen Noor Foundation In Jearsh.
~ Tour of olive oil factory to view the olives being processed into oil.
~ Meet with visit christen women in Ajloun
~ attend The Roman style costumed men to greet guests at the gates of Jerash with live trumpet playing at Jearsh Theater.
Day 3: Amman City tour - Bethany - Dead Sea – overnight Dead Sea
A full Buffet Breakfast at the hotel 9:00 am check-out of hotel followed by highlights of Amman the Capital of the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan, the city was known in the Iron age as Rabbath Ammon, and later Philadelphia, city tour of Amman (Ancient Philadelphia, Citadel, Temple of Hercules, Roman Theatre, Nymphaeum, King Abdullah Mosque [Blue Mosque] & the Ummayad Palace, afterwards transfer down by side of the river Jordan to Bethany: The site of John the Baptist's settlement at Bethany beyond the Jordan Where Jesus was baptized, has long been Known from the Bible ( John 1:28 and 10:40 and from the Byzantine and medieval texts.
The site has now been identified on the east bank of the Jordan River in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. And is being systematically surveyed excavated restored, and prepared to receive pilgrims and visitors in early 2000. Day 3 Includes:
~ Visit to Site of Amman City tour - Bethany - Dead Sea – overnight Dead Sea
~ Tour of Amman by day and Night view of the Jordanian nightlife both downtown and in surrounding areas. We will view the Roman theatre as well as the citadel and folklore museum. We can also rest and relax in local Argeela shops smoking from the flavorful water pipes.
~ Mud bath from head to toes at Dead sea direct from the healing waters of the Dead Sea.
~ Live entertainment on beach with a choice of belly dancer, light show, d-j music or Bedouin folklore band at the Dead Sea.
~ Visit to carpet factory to view carpets being made by women.
~ Visit Glass blowing factory made by women.
~ Visit to holy land shop Jordanian charity for widow women.
Day 4: The Secrets Of The Mobabites Mountains (Mount Nebo – Madab - Kings highway - Kerak Castle - Petra) 320km
A full Buffet breakfast at the hotel 8.30 am check-out for full day excursion. Trip in the way visit Mount Nebo (20 min drive) from the Dead Sea, tour of the site of the Tomb of Moses. From here Where Moses viewed the Promised Land in Canaan, and where he died and was buried in a nearby valley. Here there are ruins of 4th and 6th c. churches whose floors are still covered with marvelous mosaic. Afterwards to Madaba this town has a long history, being first mentioned in the Bible and in the Mesha Stele when it was a Moabite town, visit St. George orthodox Christian church the mosaic Map of Jerusalem, Palestine, Jordan, Israel & Egypt.
Madaba is famous as a land of mosaics followed by transfer via Kings’ Highway one of the oldest roads in Jordan, spectacular drive through wadi Al wala a tributary of the Mojib and which lower down is named Wadi el Heidan to Dhiban the site attracted the attention of scholars when the Moabite stone, an inscribed stele set up by Mesha, king of Moab about 835 B.C., Dhiban was captured from the Moabites by Sihon king of the Amorites.
Next transfer via Wadi Al Mujib or the king’s highway to Kerak, Guided tour to Karak Castle (one of the finest examples of Crusader military construction, its walls are strengthened with rectangular projecting towers, long stone vaulted galleries lit only by narrow slits, and a deep moat from the west which completely isolates the site after the visit of the Castle, continuo driving via the desert highway to reach Petra, Upon arrival A welcome drink, followed by Check-in at hotel, dinner and overnight Petra.
Day 4 includes:
~ Visit to Mount Nebo – Madab - Kings highway - Kerak Castle - Petra) 320km
~ Visit Madaba Mosaics School for Women rebuilding Mosaics from 6Centuary Ad.
~ Meet with Madaba Christen Association House.
~ Visit Bani hamedah Association (carpets and embroidery association for Bedouin)
~ Meet & visit women association in Kerak.
~ Petra by Night (candle Visit)” A candle lit visit to the Rose-Red City of Petra. The special aura of the ancient Nabatean trading empire comes to life as you enjoy a stroll through the mysterious Siq of Petra. Al al-Khazneh (the treasury), music and stories will help you experience Petra as the travel weary traders of old must have known it.
~ Privet authentic Dinner at red cave restaurant in Petra.
Day 5: The Rose Red Adventure (Petra the "rose red city half as old as time")
A full Buffet Breakfast at hotel 8:00 am departure from hotel to Petra visitor centre , On arrival to visitor centre begin a most memorable day with a horseback ride through to the SIQ of Petra (Canyon) followed by guided tour through the Siq to the Treasury, the accompanying bilingual guides give a brief history of Petra, followed by Full day to explore (the Rose-Red city) including the Siq, the Treasury, city centre, the Royal tomb, the theatre, the High Place of Sacrifice, Wadi Farasah and the Roman Soldier Tombs. Full Buffet Lunch inside Petra, afternoon Walk back to bus Station for transfer to Hotel. Freshen-up at hotel followed by dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Includes:
~ Visit of Petra the rose red city.

Day 6: Following the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia (Jeep safari from Petra to Wadi Rum 130Km Off roads. Camping Wadi Rum.)
After Breakfast 9:00 am start a jeep tour from Petra to Wadi Rum full day off roads hidden among cliffs of red sandstone mountains. Visit majestic colorful canyon, spectacular views of the Araba valley and the Petra Mountains, explore Nabateain water instillation and ruins, beautiful valleys of sandstones, gardens of junipers.
Stop by Bedouin tents in the desert and chatted with them, negotiated, argued and know their life style, Jeep tour off the beaten track, to explore Wadi Rum, visiting the most spectacular sights of Wadi Rum. View sand dunes, graffiti, visit Bedouins tents, inscriptions and canyons as well as having races through the dry oasis.
Followed by The Pasha Dinner: A B-B-Q gala dinner. Upon arrival a welcome drink in a setting lit by candles all the way to the Bedouin tents, with carpets and mattresses for sitting, where guests will be seated. As guests are enjoying a fantastic night, followed by a Bedouin dinner under the stars. The dinner will be Arabic cuisine B.B.Q Check & lamp 3 hot dishes, Soup, rice, salads, Tea, coffee, Seasonal fruits & Sweets, traditional authentic Bedouin dinner includes Nergela and overnight camping Wadi Rum.
Day 6 Includes:
~ Special day in a 4WD from Petra to wadi Rum in off roads. (Instead of bus).
~ Group must have Full Bedouin costume, Women wearing brightly colored robe and headscarf we can provide that!!
~ Visit Bedouin in the way and visit their tents and share a cup of tea with them.
~ learning something about the traditions like: Bedouin coffee, Bedouin Low, Bedouin wedding, Trail by fair, Henna, Aqeqah (child sacrifice), Bedouin revenge, Bedouin blood, hospitality and more.
~ Overnight camping in the desert with million star catering including sleeping in Bedouin tent and all supplies.
~ “Dream Night” A night of mystery and adventure including a fortune telling tent with a palm reader as well as a tea leaf reader.
Day 7: Wadi Rum Amman
Breakfast in camp, free morning, for Optional camel ride, Or resting at the camp, later transfer to Amman for check-in at hotel freshen –up followed by transfer to Tawaheen Al Hawa Restaurant.
08:30 pm. Transfer to dinner outside the hotel. 10 min drive to restaurant Tawahenn Alhawa. Authentic Jordanian restaurant, Thousands Nights and Nights, decorated with Bedouin tents and Special carpets, Special Jordanian dinner with verity of Jordanian and western cousin during dinner a local women bakes the typical Taboun bread after dinner back to hotel for overnight Amman.
Day 7 includes:
~ Free Morning in Wadi Rum.
~ Breakfast with Bedouin in the desert.
~ Optional Camel ride to explore the Arabian Desert.
~ Optional Jeep tour throughout desert to explore Wadi Rum
~ Visit to Bedouin Houses in Wadi Rum
~ Privet gala dinner in Amman.
Day 8: Farewell To The Land Of Treasures
A full Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to (QAIA) Amman, Queen Alia International Airport for Departure.
