Day 1: Welcome to Jordan
Our representative will meet and assist upon arrival to Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) Amman. Our group coordinator will assist through all costumes and immigration procedures, passport formalities and Visa handling, welcomed by guides followed by bus transfer to Amman (33 km from airport) for check-in & O/N hotel Amman.
Day 2: A Day of Contrasts. 60km. Umm Qais - View The See Of Galilee - O/N Ajloun.
A full Buffet Breakfast at the hotel 07:00 departure by bus 1.30hrs drive to The North of Jordan Umm Qais (Old Gadara) dating back to 2nd century AD, where a fully-guided tour takes in the colonnaded streets, amphitheaters, churches, temples and the vast Roman forum. Viewing the North of Jordan, the Golan Heights, Tayberias Lake and the see of Galilee from 1500 M above Sea level. Afterwards continuo driving from Umm Qais towards the town of Wahadeneh 50 Km from Ajloun. On arrival start bike fitting then lunch Included Tea and seasonal fruits.
Followed by cycling 60 Km through pine forests and olive groves until we reach the mighty Saracen Castle of Ajloun, Qalat Rabadh Or the AJloun Castle, is an Islamic fort built high on a hill with a magnificent vista of the entire Jordan Valley below. The castle was built from 1184-1185AD and one of the very few Islamic castles built to protect the country against Crusader attacks. Visit the castle, then Cycling 2 Km to hotel, Check-in, dinner and O/N Ajloun.
Day 3: 90 Km. Ajloun – Jordan Valley - Dead Sea
After breakfast at the hotel 07:00 am start Cycling from hotel in Ajloun to Dead Sea 90 Km Mostly down hills with a very stunning views throughout the Northern Mountains of Jellied & the Great Syrian African Rift, Cleaves the length of the country, and forms a natural boundary to the west it is actually part of the Great Rift valley, which carves a passage further southwards through East Africa. Lunch at the Qour Canal, afterwards cycling along the river of Jordan among the farms and the banana fields, the greenest part of the country, then along the Qour Canel to the Dead Sea.
Upon arrival to Dead Sea Check - at hotel and free afternoon for swimming and relaxation. The Dead Sea is the lowest point on the earth, which lies at the bottom of a natural depression that reaches 409m below sea level. The water is rich in minerals and it contains four times the amount of sodium chloride as is normally found in seawater, making it unsuitable for plant and animal life, but ideal for spas and medicinal treatments, afternoon of fun and relaxation, Sunset at the Dead Sea beach dinner and O/N Dead Sea.
Day 4: 90 Km. Dead Sea – Kerak Castle – Petra
After breakfast. 7:00 am departure form the hotel cycling to Kerak. 60Km cycling along the Dead Sea beach, Lunch in road, after lunch another 30 Km, uphill to Kerak Castle. It is a challenging up hill cycling but not a must! For those who can’t do it they will have a transfer up to the Castle.
Kerak castle is one of the finest examples of Crusader military construction, its walls are strengthened with rectangular projecting towers, long stone vaulted galleries lit only by narrow slits, and a deep moat from the west which completely isolates, visit the site ! Afterwards 2.30hrs bus transfer to Petra. Check-in on arrival, dinner and O/N hotel Petra.
Day 5: Full Day Tour of Petra O/N Petra
A full buffet breakfast at hotel 8:00 am departure from hotel to Petra visitor center. On arrival to visitor Centro begin a most memorable day with a horseback ride through to the SIQ of Petra (Canyon) followed by guided tour through the Siq to the Treasury, the accompanying bilingual guides give a brief history of Petra, followed by full day to explore (the Rose-Red city) including the Siq, the Treasury, city Center, the Royal tombs, the theatre, the High Place of Sacrifice, Wadi Farasah and the Roman Soldier Tombs. Free Lunch inside Petra, afternoon Walk back to hotel, freshen-up dinner and O/N Petra
Day 6: Petra - Wadi Araba O/N Camping.70 km
Breakfast at hotel 09:00 am start cycling from Petra on road 30 Km to Jebal Rajef then 40 Km off roads to Wadi Araba. Our Cycling starts from the Nabatean capital, Petra a symbol to their success and wealth remains one of the wonders of the world and finishes in Wadi Araba, scene of the Arab uprising in the 1920's championed by Lawrence of Arabia. As we make our way south we cannot but wonder and admire the advanced technology used by this extraordinary trading nation to trap and carry the little rain that falls in this arid desert.
Our route today takes us through some beautiful Wadis, eventually giving way to more level terrain as we continue southwest toward The Araba Valle . On the way we pass some of the extraordinary and elaborate remains of the Nabatean watching tower’s and Caravan stations. Its also has some of the most spectacular desert scenery to be found any where. Along and incredible day's Cycling. We camp virtually in the middle of Wadi Araba (Robert Rock) surrounded only by hills of granite and desert sand dinner and O/n In a Bedouin tents.
Day 7: 100 Km. Robert Rock – Wadi Araba – Aqaba
Breakfast at the camp 7:00 am start 8 km off road, then cycling on road via the land of Edom, The desert between Wadi Araba and Aqaba is awe inspiring in its beauty and extraordinary moon like landscape. It is a region filled with history, battles and revolutions reaching back as far as the Old Testament when Solomon and Aaron passed through in their search for the Promised Land.
Its commercial importance peaked during the Nabatean area, when gold silks and perfumes were carried along the same paths we will be treading. A wonderful day ahead. We continue cycling through the land of Edom, Stunning in its natural beauty we cycle alongside weathered mountains and occasional camels passing "like ships in the desert” on arrival to Aqaba. Check-in at the hotel followed by dinner and O/N Aqaba.
Day 8: Departure
Breakfast at hotel, bus Transfer to Aqaba International Airport for Departure.
Services in General: Guides, Cooks, Camping Equipment's, Cooking Equipment's, Meals, Transfers, 4x4 assistance. We guarantee the highest quality.
Meals: The above programs we offer on F/B basis, which means Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. All meals will be original Bedouin cuisine. We serve simple, healthy food and all meals are prepared fresh and cooked over an open fire. We also accommodate vegetarian meals.
- Breakfast: Buffet Arabic and continental Breakfast at hotel.
- Lunches: Boxed lunches and salads are provided for cyclist, cheese, Yogurt, cucumbers. Tomatoes, oranges, cake, juice, bread, local salads, tea and coffee.
- Fruit Stop: Tow Fruit stop every day: Includes 3 seasonal fruits like banana, Oranges and apple.
Guides: English Speaking Guide will Join throughout the program in a support 4x4 Car.
4x4 Assistance: Two 4WD assistance one in the front and one in the back to escort group throughout.
Medical Treatment: A doctor to Join Group throughout Program.
Truck for bike and Luggage.
Please note: we Provide Truck for transfer bikes and Luggage when Needed. Like day 2 from Amman to Umm Qais and from Kerak to Petra and from Petra to Wadi Araba. As will as luggage from Place to other.
Dinners: Buffet dinner will be provided every day at the hotel, includes Salads Appetizer. A B-B-Q dinner will be providing on Camp, A variety of seasonal fruits, water, tea and coffee. Every evening a different dinner will be provided.
Desserts. 3 kind of seasonal fruits, oriental sweets, Tea and coffee.
Beverage drinks. Local water is used for drinking, cooking and washing. Mineral water, soft drinks are available as supplement.
Camping: We always use spectacular wilderness areas. We decide the exact location, depending on the weather and the season.
