Your Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Jordan (QAIA - Amman)
On arrival to QAIA Amman our group coordinator and Airport representative will meet and assist you through all customs and immigration procedures. Welcomed by guides, followed by 33 km transfer by deluxe air-conditioned Car to hotel in Amman. Check-in and freshen-up followed by O/N.
Day 2: A Day of Contrasts (Jerash Ajloun Umm Qais - Amman O/N)
A full Buffet Breakfast at the hotel 8:00 am departure from hotel for full day excursion. Drive to Jerash 45 Km from Amman, through the pine forests and olive groves until we reach the Greece-Roman city, a fully-guided tour takes in the colonnaded street, of Jerash the Bombay of the east.
Visiting the oval plaza area, theatres, colonnaded streets, Temple of Artemis and Zeus and a complex of churches. Afterwards back to bus station for transfers to the mighty Saracen Castle of Ajloun 24km from Jerash. Qalat Rabadh or the AJloun Castle is an Islamic fort built high on a hill with a magnificent vista of the entire Jordan Valley below.
The castle was built from 1184-1185AD and one of the very few Islamic castles built to protect the country against Crusader attacks. Afterwards transfer north to Umm Qais (Old Gadara) dating back to 2nd century AD, colonnaded streets, amphitheaters, churches, temples and the vast Roman forum, viewing the North of Jordan and the Golan Heights and Tayberias Lake from 1500 M above Sea level.
Afterwards continuo driving down through Jordan Valley (or the Great Syrian African Rift) Cleaves the length of the country, and forms a natural boundary to the west it is actually part of the Great Rift valley, which carves a passage further southwards through East Africa driving along the Yarmok River of Jordan among the farms of Jordan, the most green part of the country evening transfer to Amman for freshen-up followed by dinner and O/N at hotel.
Day 3: Desert Castles & Palaces - Highlights of Amman
A full buffet Breakfast at the hotel 8:00 am transfer by Car for Journey to explore the east part of Jordan the final resting place of Lawrence of Arabia, 90km from Amman, the desert castles and palaces were built by the Ummayads Caliphs in the 8th century AD. They built these castles and palaces in the Jordanian desert in order to maintain the caravan routes and to secure the loyalty of Jordanian tribes. In addition, they built hunting lodges to enjoy horse riding, hunting and bathing, Visit Kharanah Palace, Amra Palace, and Azraq castle, and then transfer back to Amman for Lunch at Kan Zaman Village, which dates back to the beginning of the 20th century.
The fortress has since been transformed into a handicraft centre with small shops offering a wide variety of traditional hand-crafted products. Buffet lunch at Kan Zaman consists of a delicious array of home-cooked Arabic cuisine an extensive selection of hot and cold mezza.
Free timing, late in afternoon Departure for highlights of Amman the capital of the hshemite kingdom of Jordan, the city was known in the Iron age as Rabbath Ammon, and later Philadelphia, its tour of (Ancient Philadelphia, Citadel, Temple of Hercules, Roman Theatre, Nymphaeum, King Abdullah Mosque [Blue Mosque] & the Ummayad Palace, afterwards return to hotel, freshen-up, dinner and O/N hotel.
Day 4: The Secrets of the Mobabites Mountains (Mount Nebo Madaba Little Petra O/N Petra)
A full buffet breakfast at hotel. 09:00 am check-out of hotel and departure for full day excursion. A trip through the historical Mountains of Moa'ab. Stop over in Mount Nebo (40 min drive) from Amman, tour of the site of the tomb of Moses. From here Moses viewed the Promised Land in Canaan, and where he died and was buried in a nearby valley. Here there are ruins of 4th and 6th c. churches whose floors are still covered with marvelous mosaic floor.
Afterwards follow the footsteps of Moses to Madaba. 10 min drive from Mount Nebo, this town has a long history, being first mentioned in the Bible and in the Mesha Stele when it was a Moabite town, visit St. George orthodox Christian church the mosaic Map of Jerusalem, Palestine, Jordan, Israel & Egypt. Madaba is famous as a land of mosaics. Afterwards transfer via the desert highway to Petra, Checkin at hotel then transfer to Little Petra Baidah, 8 km north Of Petra a caravan station from the 3ed C.BC, visit the site then back to wadi Mousa for freshen-up followed by freshen-up at hotel dinner and O/N.
Day 5: The Rose Red City Adventure (Petra O/N Petra)
A full Buffet Breakfast at hotel 8:00 am departure to Petra. For a full day trip to explore the rose red city, on arrival to visitor center begin a most memorable day with 20min riding on horseback to the SIQ of Petra (Canyon) followed by guided tour through the Siq to the Treasury, the accompanying bilingual guides give a brief history of Petra, followed by full day to explore (the Rose-Red city) including the Siq, the Treasury, City center, the Royal tomb, the theatre, the High Place, afternoon Walk back through the Siq, then to hotel in Petra for freshen-up followed by: dinner and O/N at the hotel Petra.
Day 6: Petra. O/N Petra
A full Buffet Breakfast at hotel 9:00 am departure to Petra for a full day trip to explore the Monastery and the other high Places in Petra, free afternoon in Petra, back to hotel in Petra for freshen-up followed by: dinner and O/N at the hotel Petra.
Day 7: Following The Footsteps Of Lawrence Of Arabia (Petra - Wadi Rum O/N Camping)
A Full buffet Breakfast at the hotel in Petra, free morning for shopping etc, and much more options. 12:00 h Check-out of hotel, followed by transfer to Wadi Rum, the Valley of the Moon. Here you will find adventure and feel the romance of the Arabian Desert. Wadi Rum is like a moonscape of ancient valleys and towering weathered sandstone mountains rising out of white and pink colored sands. Upon arrival to Wadi Rum, a jeep tour to explore Lawrence Road, visiting the most spectacular sights of Wadi Rum.
Will view sand dunes, graffiti, inscriptions and canyons as well as having races through the dry oasis. Exploring the most interesting and exiting sites of Wadi Rum Sunset tour ending at Wadi Umm Eshreen, followed by transfer to Camp, luxury camp ! Followed by The Pasha Dinner: A B-B-Q buffet dinner. The dinner will be Arabic cuisine B.B.Q Check & lamp, hot dishes, Soup, rice, salads, Tea, coffee, Seasonal fruits etc. Traditional authentic Bedouin dinner. O/N camping Wadi Rum under the stars includes all camping equipment. Stay in a luxury Camp with 5 stars catering.
Day 8: Wadi Rum Aqaba. O/N Aqaba
Breakfast at the camp! 8:30 am transfer to Aqaba. Free day in Aqaba to enjoy the Sun Sea and sands as will as to explore the Corals rifts of the Red Sea, free day for Snorkeling, diving or shopping. Dinner at hotel O/N (Aqaba).
Day 9: Aqaba - Dead Sea- Amman
A full buffet Breakfast at the hotel 9:00 am transfer to the Dead Sea the lowest point on earth for free timing of swimming and relaxation at the Dead Sea, free afternoon, Sunset view from the Dead Sea beach followed by transfer to Amman Check-in at hotel, Dinner and O/N Amman.
Day 10: Departure
A full buffet breakfast at the hotel, afterwards departure by Car to QAIA International Airport to be escorted by our group coordinator for departure.
