Your Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Jordan
Our representative will meet and assist upon arrival to Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) Amman. Our group coordinator will assist through all costumes and immigration procedures, passport formalities and Visa handling, followed by transfer to Amman (33 km from airport) for check-in and O/N at hotel Carlton.
Day 2: The Secrets of the Mobabites Mountains (Mount Nebo – Madaba - Bethany - Dead Sea - Petra)
After breakfast at the hotel 8.00 am check-out for full day excursion trip. In the way visit Mount Nebo (40 min drive) from Amman, tour of the site of the Tomb of Moses. From here Where Moses viewed the Promised Land in Canaan, and where he died and was buried in a nearby valley. Here there are ruins of 4th and 6th c. churches whose floors are still covered with marvelous mosaic.
Afterwards to Madaba this town has a long history, being first mentioned in the Bible and in the Mesha Stele when it was a Moabite town, visit St. George orthodox Christian church the mosaic Map of Jerusalem, Palestine, Jordan, Israel & Egypt. Madaba is famous as a land of mosaics, afterwards transfer down by side of the river Jordan to Bethany: The site of John the Baptist's settlement at Bethany beyond the Jordan Where Jesus was baptized, has long been Known from the Bible (John 1:28 and 10:40 and from the Byzantine and medieval texts.
The site has now been identified on the east bank of the Jordan River in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. And is being systematically surveyed excavated restored, and prepared to receive pilgrims and visitors in early 2000. After that Continuo to the Dead sea the lowest point on earth 409 meters below sea level for free timing to enjoy the Dead sea Beach, possibility of mud bath (everyone will be covered from head to toe in black mud directly from the Dead Sea, world-known for its healing powers), free afternoon of swimming and relaxation, late in afternoon transfer to Petra for check-in at hotel followed by Dinner and O/N. Hotel Petra Inn.
Day 3: The Rose Red Adventure. Petra – Wadi Rum O/N camping
Breakfast at the hotel 8:00 am departure from hotel to Petra visitor centre, followed by full day to explore (the Rose-Red city) including the Siq, the Treasury, city centre, the Royal tomb, the theatre, the High Place of Sacrifice, Wadi Farasah and the Roman Soldier Tombs. Afternoon Walk back through the Siq to bus station for transfer to Wadi Rum. 1.20 hrs to Wadi Rum, the Valley of the Moon.
Here you will find adventure and feel the romance of the Arabian desert Wadi Rum is like a moonscape of ancient valleys and towering weathered sandstone mountains rising out of white and pink colored sands Upon arrival to Wadi Rum welcome Bedouin drink afterwards The Pasha Dinner A barbecue dinner, under the stars includes a verity of salads. O/N camping Wadi Rum.
Day 4: Following the Footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia
Bedouin Breakfast at the camp, followed by 3 hrs jeep tour to explore Lawrence Road, visiting the most spectacular sights of Wadi Rum. Viewing sand dunes, graffiti, visit Bedouins tents, inscriptions and canyons as well as having races through the dry oasis. Exploring the most interesting and exiting sites of Wadi Rum. Optional camel tour in Wadi Rum. Afterwards transfer to Aqaba for Check-in at hotel followed by free afternoon at the read Sea beach O/N hotel Miramar Aqaba.
Day 5: Farewell to Jordan
Breakfast at the hotel followed by early transfer to Aqaba International Airport for Departure to Amman, then home.
