Beginning in Oakland, our train travels north into the breathtaking Napa Valley, stopping for a day's visit to one of the many wineries. Then continue east to Lake Tahoe, one of the world's most beautiful lakes. Watch Nevada and Utah pass by before arriving in Colorado, taking in Arches & Canyonlands National Parks along the way.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: San Francisco Bay Area, California. Step into a luxurious world of adventure and excitement. Board the GrandLuxe Express. Welcome Aboard Champagne Reception and Dinner. Overnight on the GrandLuxe Express. Meals included: (D).

Day 2: Napa Valley, California. Enjoy a taste of America’s culinary heartland. Lunch at the Cask Room at Merryvale Winery. Copia, the American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts, conceived by Robert Mondavi with assistance from Julia Child. Overnight on the GrandLuxe Express. Meals included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 3: Sierra Nevada Mountains and Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Spend the day at one of the world’s most beautiful lakes. Rail through Donner Pass and descend through the Sierra Mountains. Lake Tahoe Boat Cruise. Overnight on the GrandLuxe Express. Meals included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 4: Salt Lake city, Utah. Discover the many sides of Salt Lake City. Choose from: Downtown Salt Lake City tour, Robert Redford’s Sundance Resort, Park City art walk. Overnight on the GrandLuxe Express. Meals included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 5: Arches and Canyonlands National Parks from Grand Junction, Colorado. Some of the most inspiring landscapes on earth. World’s largest concentration of natural sandstone arches. Grandview Point. Balanced Rock. Overnight on the GrandLuxe Express. Meals included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 6: Rail through Colorado Rockies by Daylight. Rail day through the Colorado Rockies by daylight. An unforgettable journey through the incomparable Rocky Mountains. Glenwood Canyon, which inspired the world’s first dome railcar. Cross the Continental Divide. Moffat Tunnel. Farewell Dinner. Overnight on the GrandLuxe Express. Meals included: (B), (L), (D).

Day 7: Denver, Colorado. A week of fabulous adventures comes to a close. Meals included: (B).

Sleeping Accommodations:
- Vintage Pullman: Upper and lower beds, converted full-size couch, private sink and water closet.
- Single Sleeper: Lower bed, converted single sofa seat, private sink, and water closet.
- Grand Class includes en-suite sink, toilet and shower.
- Classic Presidential Suite: Double-size cabin with two lower beds, two converted single sofa seats or a converted couch, private sink, water closet and shower.
- Grand Suite: Larger cabin with two lower beds in an "L" configuration, converted full-size couch and converted single sofa seat, table, private sink, water closet and shower.
