Day 1: Nairobi/Masai Mara 8.45am Depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for a late afternoon/early evening game drive in this 'big game country' famed worldwide for its high animal concentration, abundance and variety. Dinner and overnight at the Keekorok lodge or similar. Day 2: Masai Mara Early breakfast then proceed for a full day of tracking game with your guide in this park whose landscape is savanna grassland on rolling hills. Virtually every type of animal is found in the Mara, which has an extensive road, and track network, which allows excellent photography and viewing opportunities, making it the best and most visited park in Kenya. Drive to the lodge for lunch. In the evening enjoy a further drive at the park, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 3: Masai Mara Early breakfast followed by a morning game drive. Lunch at the lodge. You may visit a local Masai village to see their nomadic lifestyle. All activities will end in the evening then retire for the night after dinner at the lodge. Day 4: Masai Mara/Nakuru Early cup of tea or coffee then proceed on your final pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the lodge or campsite for a late buffet breakfast then depart the Mara region for Nakuru. Have a break for lunch at Naivasha. Proceed on to drive to Lake Nakuru National where you enjoy a late evening drive at the park as you head for the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Day 5: Lake Nakuru/Nairobi After breakfast proceed on a game drive in Nakuru Park, which has prolific bird life including flamingos, white pelicans and the marabou stork among others. Waterbuck and Cape buffalo can be seen near the shoreline. Rothschild’s giraffe and the white rhino are additional attractions among other species of plains game and cats like lion.
