The limited availability cruise is a wonderful extension of our bestselling classic Ukrainian river tour, with rout that was expanded to include Black Sea ports of call in Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania, and Turkey. It is a great and unique opportunity to visit cradle of Slavic civilization – Ukraine, marvel at the beauty of the picturesque river towns of Bulgaria and Moldova, get lost in the splendor of the ancient Romania, and submerge in the exotic, colorful and mysterious Turkey.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Kiev. Arrival to the Kiev. Meet and greet. Transfer to the ship. Embarkation.
Day 2: Kiev. City tour of Kiev including St. Sophia’s Cathedral, Golden Gates, Pecherskaya Lavra Monastery and Babiy Yar. Rerun to the ship, dinner, preparation for departure.
Day 3: Cruising. Cruising Dnieper River, onboard entertainment, lectures, Captain’s Welcome cocktail reception.
Day 4: Zaporozhye. Morning arrival to Zaporozhye. Your day tour will include, museum of Cossacks, Guided bus city tour including Panorama of the town and Khortitsa Island. Return to the ship, departure.
Day 5: Kherson. Breakfast on board and morning arrival to Kherson. Your tour will include a boat trip to the Fishermen’s Island.
Day 6: Sevastopol. Morning arrival to Sevastopol. Bus city tour will include visit to panorama, and coach trip to Bakhchisaray (optional/ at additional fee). Return to the ship for dinner. and afternoon entertainment.
Day 7: Yalta. Arriving to the port of city of Yalta. Your guided city bus tour will include visit to Livadia Palace, The Sailor’s Cathedral, and the Museum of Naval History. Afternoon return to the ship for dinner and evening of entertainment.
Day 8: Yalta. You will have an opportunity to go on a wine tasting tour to a local town of Alupka (optional/ at additional fee). Lunch on board and departure from Yalta. Sailing, dinner and evening entertainment on board. Evening departure.
Day 9: Odessa. Morning arrival to Odessa. You schedule includes guided city tour, visit to the local landmarks including Potemkin Staircase and Richelieu Monument. Afternoon return to the ship. An optional evening theater or opera performance can be scheduled at the additional fee.
Day 10: Odessa. Trip to Moldova. Bus tour to Chisinau – the capital of Moldova. Enjoy the beauty of the old town, and marvel at the old Dnestr River.
Day 11: Cruising. Cruising, onboard entertainment, lectures.
Day 12: Tulcea Rumania. Morning arrival to Tulcea. City bus tour of the ancient town of Tulcea and boat trip along amazing Danube River Delta. Return to the ship and evening departure.
Day 13: Nessebar, Bulgaria/Istanbul, Turkey. Arrival to Nessebar. Walking city tour that includes visit to the Old Town with the wooden houses, ancient ruins and churches and one of the town's symbols, the wooden windmill. Return to the ship. Disembarkation, picturesque bus ride to Istanbul, Turkey. Accommodation at the hotel, Dinner.
Day 14: Istanbul, Turkey. Comprehensive city bus tour that includes visit various famous historical landmark. Enjoy magnificent view of the Bosporus strait that divides Europe and Asia. Your breakfast and dinner will be served at the hotel and lunch in the city restaurant.
Day 15: Istanbul. Breakfast and check out from the hotel. Shuttle transfer to the airport. Departure.
