This unique river voyage is dedicated to the memory of the great Russian composer Peter Illyich Tchaikovsky. It is a wonderful opportunity to take our popular sightseeing tour that includes Moscow, Uglitch, Yaroslavl, Tchaikovsk and Kazan; and enjoy classical music along your way. You will have an opportunity to re-discover Peter Tchaikovsky’s brilliant music, and learn about his life and art.
Tour itinerary:
Day 1: Moscow. Arrival to Moscow. Transfer to the ship, embarkation, accommodation. Dinner on board
Day 2: Moscow. Breakfast on board. City tour. Trip to city Klin including visit to House-Museum of Tchaikovsky. Lunch in St’ Tikhon Church in Klin. Visit of House - Museum of Tchaikovsky. Dinner on board. Concert in Tchaikovsky Hall or Circus.
Day 3: Moscow. Breakfast on board. Kremlin+ Cathedral. Lunch on board. Departure from Moscow. Briefing. Captain Cocktail + Welcoming concert. Dinner on board.
Day 4: Uglitch. Breakfast on board. Russian Language lesson. Lecture about Tchaikovsky’s childhood and youth. Lunch on board. Arrival to Uglitch. City tour including vicit to St’ Dmitry Church and Spaso-Preobrajensky Monastery. Departure from Uglitch, dinner on board. Musical Evening of Russian Song.
Day 5: Yaroslavl. Arrival to Yaroslavl, breakfast on board. City tour including visit to Spassky Monastery, Church Ilja the Prophet and Tchaikovsky street. Lunch on board. Departure form Yaroslavl. Lecture about Tchaikovsky art. Dinner on board.
Day 6: N. Novorod. Breakfast on board. Art Salon Lecture + Russian Language Lesson. Lunch on board. Arrival to N. Novgorod. City tour including visit to Kremlin. Departure from N. Novgorod, dinner on board. Musical Evening with Tchaikovsky’s operas extracts.
Day 7: Kazan. Breakfast on board. Ceremony «Russian Tea». Lunch on board. Arrival to Kazan. City tour including Kazan Kremlin and functioning Mosque “Mardjani”. Departure from Kazan, dinner on board. Musical Evening with Tchaikovsky’s ballets extracts.
Day 8: Nijnekamsk. Breakfast on board. Arrival to Nijnekamsk. City tour including «Tour to the Past» with folklore performance and snack at “Arba” restaurant with local cuisine. Departure from Nijnekamsk. Lunch on board. Ceremony «Russian Blini». Dinner on board. Musical Evening with Tchaikovsky’s romances extracts.
Day 9: Tchaikovsk. Breakfast on board. Arrival to Tchaikovsk. Trip to city Votkinsk. Visit to the House-Museum of Tchaikovsky including 40-minute concert. Lunch on board. Departure from Tchaikovsk. Farewell dinner on board. Talent Show includes Competition on Tchaikovsky’s Art and Concert.
Day 10: Perm. Breakfast on board. Arrival to Perm. City tour including visit to Art Gallery. Lunch on board. Dinner on board.
Day 11: Perm. Breakfast on board. Trip to Architecture–Ethnographical museum “Khokhlovka”. Lunch on board. Folklore Band “Prikamie” performance. Dinner on board.
Day 12: Perm. Moscow. Breakfast on board. Disembarkation. Transfer to the airport.
