8 Day Gorilla & Primate Safari
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at Entebbe Airport to be met and greeted by Our Company representative, then transfer to Kampala and check in your accommodation for evening relaxing then your dinner and overnight. If you arrive early you will have some money changed, then we go for a tour around Kampala visiting some interesting places like the Kasubi tombs, Namugongo Martyr’s shrine, Uganda museum, the Bahai Temple and some crafts shops. Return evening to your hotel:

Day 2: Kampala – Bwindi
Early breakfast, then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable park with lunch at Mbarara then proceed to Kabale through the rolling hills known as the “Little Switzerland” of Kabale, Dinner and overnight at:

Day 3: Bwindi Gorrilla Treking
After early breakfast, then with your packed lunch go for a briefing at 08:00 hours before beginning the trek. Gorilla trekking is unpredictable, so it is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike. It may take 2-8 hours, and you should be prepared to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. The ranger guide always briefs you on how to behave with these gentle giants. If the trekking ends early you may go for nature walks in the park or decide to relax off. Later return for dinner and overnight at:

Day 4: Bwindi – Nkuringo Section
Have relaxed breakfast; then we go for a nature walk along the Munyanja River which will reveal a variety of various bird species. OR We may decide to go for village walk visiting the local people to experience a typical African life style.
Return for lunch then we transfer to the southern sector of Bwindi in preparation for our second gorilla trekking. Check in at

Day 5: Bwindi - 2nd Gorrilla Treking
After early breakfast, again with our packed lunch, we head for another briefing at 08:00 hours before beginning the trek. Gorilla trekking is unpredictable, so it is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike. You may trek either shorter or longer hours compared to your 1st trekking, there is no guarantee.
It may take 2-8 hours, and you should be prepared to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas.

Day 6: Bwindi – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Enjoy relaxed breakfast, and then we transfer to Queen Elizabeth in time for Lunch, then in the afternoon game drive in the Ishasha sector that will expose a number of a game and may be lucky to also spot the tree climbing lions. Later return to dinner and overnight at:

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
The day begins early at 06:00am with breakfast, and then we head for the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for the lions in their natural habitat, elephants, buffaloes etc. we spend the whole morning game driving, and later return to check out, and transfer to Mweya Safari Lodge. Then take the afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. On the cruise abundant bird life is sighted and perhaps the highest concentration of hippos in Africa and crocodiles. Later return for dinner and Overnight at:

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth – Kampala – Departure
After breakfast, you enjoy exploring Kyambura Gorge Wildlife Reserve.
In Kyambura, drive through grassland area, all of a sudden we come across an amazing gorge of tropical rainforest 100 meters deep. Hike into Kyambura River Gorge for an unforgettable experience trekking chimpanzees, you may see them or not but it's a rewarding experience not only to see the chimpanzees, but also to see the beautiful river valley that houses numerous bird and butterfly species.
Later we transfer to Kampala with lunch enroute and a stop at the equator, later arrive Kampala in the afternoon and transfer to Entebbe for your departure flight back home.
