The cardinal point is Wawel Castle, which was home to many Polish kings and was the center of royalty power up till the 17th century.
The nearby Cathedral played the important role as a coronation place of successive Polish monarchs and a crypt is also the final resting place for many of them too. Walk up the Grodzka street to the heart of Cracow – the Main Market Square with the large Gothic Cloth Hall – a perfect place for shopping. Your sightseeing will also include St. Mary’s Church with its famous medieval altar by Wit Stwosz. The afternoon is free to explore on your own. Overnight at Ester Hotel or similar. Includes: (B).

The tour begins with a 15-minute documentary film about the liberation of the camp, then a museum-guide will show you exhibitions in some of the surviving prison blocks, the gas chamber and the crematorium. After a short break, you will continue to Birkenau where you will go up the watchtower above the entrance gate to see the view of the biggest Nazi extermination camp. At leisure upon arrival back in Cracow. Overnight at Ester Hotel or similar. Includes: (B).
Day 4: In Cracow – Half day excursion to Wieliczka Salt Mine. Your excursion will take you to one of the most famous attractions in the world - Wieliczka Salt Mine – considered one of the oldest salt mines in Europe.
