Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to Belgrade, transfer to hotel and accommodation. Time at leisure.Overnight.
Day 2: Departure to Subotica and short stroll around Palic Lake. Lunch at traditional grange - salaš farm, accompanied with tamburitza music. Drive to Zobnatica, stud farm and visit to the Horse Museum. Drive on to Feketic agricultural village, wine tasting in "Lodi wine cellar". Arrival to Novi Sad. Hotel accommodation. Dinner in the restaurant at the Danube bank – fish specialties.Overnight.
Day 3: After breakfast, panoramic tour of Novi Sad, Petrovaradin fortress, visit the Art Gallery-Studio 61, one of the three unique artistic tapestry workshops in Europe. Drive to Sremski Karlovci – historic and cultural center of Serbs, sightseeing, wine tasting and honey sampling. Drive along beautiful slopes of the Fruska Gora
Mountain to Krusedol Monastery, one of 17 monasteries within National Park of Fruska Gora. Rustic lunch in “Perkov salas” – typical farm house. Drive on to Valjevo with stop-over in Kaona Monastery (14th century) refreshment with healing spring water. Hotel accommodation. Short walk through Tresnjar, old quarter famous for handcrafts and old-fashioned manufacturers. "Duvan cvarci" tasting - authentic Serbian products. Dinner in traditional restaurant located on Gradac River. Overnight.
Day 4: After breakfast departure to Bajina Basta, small town located in the impressive valley of Drina River, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Archaic train ride by “Shargan Eight”, the only narrow railway track in Europe up to the Mecavnik Hill “Wooden Town”, founded by famous former Yugoslav film director Emir Kusturica. Welcome drink and branch. Drive to magnificent Perucac Lake, artificial lake created by building of the Hydro-plant “Perucac”. Boat ride along the lake and “make your own meal” - game kettle and Serbian beans. Afternoon stroll through the Tara National Park, untouched rare and unique mountain scenery with plenty of deep forests, rivers and waterfalls. Accommodation in mountain chalets, traditional dinner, music program. Overnight
Day 5: After breakfast, short walk with picking up medicinal herbs and mushrooms. Visit to "Terzica Avlija" in Zlakusa village, hand made ceramics exhibition. Drive through the gorgeous Ovcar - Kablar canyon, visit to one of eleven monasteries situated on Morava River banks, flourishing the “Serbian Holly Mountain”. Traditional lunch and short trumpet players performance in Guca village, famous for its well known trumpet music festival. Drive on to Vrnjacka Banja Spa. Short visit to the Žica Monastery, 13th century. Hotel accommodation, dinner. Overnight.
Day 6: After breakfast, free time at leisure, thermal spa recreation, wellness program or visit to the local cultural sights/ market of hand made pottery, souvenirs.../ “Catch your lunch”- trout or lamb on Goc Mountain. After enjoyable walks in genuine natural and rural scenery, drive to Belgrade and hotel accommodation. Visit to Skadarlija, famous Belgrade bohemian quarter. Dinner with music program. Overnight.
Day 7: Breakfast and Belgrade sightseeing, visit to The Nikola Tesla Museum. End of program.
