We offer a customizable hiking and trekking vacation through one of the most beautiful region in southern Poland. This offer is for adults of 18 years of age or older. Basically we don't have age limit but you need to be physically fit and prepared to withstand difficulties of trekking in diverse mountain terrain.

But don't be afraid! We don't require specific physical condition as long as you feel good about spending whole days outdoors. Although this program is not recommended for people with health problems that would prevent them from engaging in prolonged outdoor activities.

This offer is directed towards active individuals. If you prefer to drive, fly use quads or motorbikes then you will not have much fun choosing this program. Here you will actually get to use all your senses: not only will you see, but also hear, smell, feel and touch.

You will spend your time in unspoiled nature, breathing clean, mountain air and do much more than traditional vacationer. You will travel on foot with your backpack. It will be strenuous at times but definitely adventurous and magical. We can promise you that!

* Important! All tours start on Friday. All participants from North America will be leaving day before the tour starts. For example: Tour starts on June 29th, leaving day would be Thursday, June 28.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Krakow’s International Airport in Poland. We hope you had a good flight! Meeting with the tour director and transfer by bus to our accommodation place. Informal discussion about what’s ahead of us and tour plan.

Day 2: After breakfast let the hiking begin! Visit to old Saint Michael’s Archangel Church in Debno. Transfer to first day hiking beginning point - Dursztyn.From Dursztyn we will hike for approx. 3.5-4 hours to Niedzica where we will visit Dunajec Castle.

In Niedzica we will visit a museum presenting history of the castle and the surrounding area. After late lunch in local restaurant we will cross the Czorsztyn Lake by a ship. On the other side we’ll visit ruins of medieval Czorsztyn Castle. Return to Szczawnica.

Day 3: After breakfast transfer to beginning hiking point in Czorsztyn. From Czorsztyn we will hike thru the Pieniny National Park for approx. 2.5-3 hours to Sromowce. After lunch well go on the raft trip down the Dunajec River through the Pieniny Gorge.

It is one of the greatest tourist attractions in Poland. Rafting in special wooden boats is an extraordinary experience. These traditional boats are lead by experienced rafts men called „flisacy” that guarantee to deliver their cargo safely.

Day 4: Early Breakfast then transfer by car to Kroscienko. Hiking trip to one of the important Pieniny Range: Kroscienko-Trzy Korony-Gora Zamkowa-Kroscienko Return to Szczawnica. After lunch we will introduce you to Szczawnica - Mineral water resort, taste mineral waters and visit Pieniny Museum. Tonight – “Ram roasting with mountaineer’s orchestra”!

Day 5: Today we’ll take a short chairlift ride to Palenica and from there we will hike to Homole Ravine via Durbaszka and Wysoka. On the way we’ll make a stop in Durbaszka mountain hostel and Homole Ravine. After that we will go Jaworki village and then we’ll return to Szczawnica riding a highlander’s carriages.

Day 6: After breakfast, bus trip to Krakow. We cannot let you pass on Krakow! This day you will spend mostly in the city enjoying its majesty, charm and beauty. You will walk along the Royal Route, see remains of Krakow fortifications, the Main Market Square - the Cloth Hall, the tower of Town Hall, St. Mary church with world famous gothic altar by Wit Stwosz, Wawel Hill – the former Castle of Polish rulers. Return to Szczawnica late afternoon.

Day 7: After early we will be leaving Pieniny Region. We’ll pack our belongings and hike to Beskid Sadecki – Radziejowa Range. Our Route: Jaworki – Ruski Wierch-Obidza-Wielki Rogacz-Niemcowa. We’ll make a short stop in Niemcowa Lodge for refreshments and then go to City of Piwniczna (mineral water resort) where we’ll stay for another 3 nights. Hiking time - approx. 7-8 hours.

Day 8: Today we’ll be hiking beautiful Polish-Slovak border trail: Kosarzyska-Obidza-Eliaszowka-Piwniczna. Approx. hiking time 6+ hours. On Afternoon visit to Piwniczna and go to local mineral water facility.

Day 9: After breakfast we’ll go for a short ride to Rytro where we will visit ruins of an old castle and then hike a circle back to Piwninczna via beautiful scenic trail. Hiking time – approx. 6+ hours.

Day 10: After breakfast transfer to Krynica – biggest spa city an the mineral water resort in Poland. On the way we will make a few stops to see local historic attractions. After lunch we’ll go by gondol to Jaworzyna Krynicka and walk down to the city where we will taste mineral waters. After lunch it will be time to pack and get ready for your trip back home.

Day 11: Transfer to Krakow International Airport and end of the tour. We hope you had a great vacations and good time! Order of visited attractions, routes, trails can be customized and adjusted to a group needs. Also in case of really bad weather we will propose substitute attractions to fulfill your vacation time.
