Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Flight to Belgrade and introductory panoramic sightseeing during arrival transfer, welcome drink and hotel accommodation. Leisure time and dinner in Skadarlija bohemian quarter. Overnight.
Day 2: After breakfast - Belgrade city tour – Kalemegdan Fortress, remarkable view to the confluence of rivers Sava and Danube, Tito’s tomb, St.Sava Temple, National Theater, Republic Square. Lunch in downtown Belgrade, leisure time. Dinner, overnight.
Day 3: After breakfast coach drive to Topola and Oplenac, visit of Church of St.George, Royal Family Mausoleum and museum exhibition. Lunch. Drive to Studenica Monastery and Studenica Monastery Complex tour (Church of the Virgin Mary,the King’s church, the treasury). Accommodation in the Monastery dormitory (special regime of behavior), traditional dinner in the monastery dinning room located inside the magnificent holy place full of tranquility and peace. Overnight.
Day 4: After breakfast drive through the mountainous landscape, along the King’s/Lilac valley ancient road built during the rule of Nemanya Dynasty, passing Raska where the Serbian medieval state was established between 11th and 14th century. Tour of the ecclesiastical complex of Sopocani Monastery, built in 13th century, whose frescos are considered to be the masterpiece of European fresco painting of the time.
Drive by magic mountainous Montenegro scenery to Rozaje and traditional lunch while admiring the natural beauties calmness in fresh air. Accommodation in Kolasin, in the heart of magic scenery.Wellness and relaxing possibilities in the Wellness Center. Traditional organic dinner in restaurant, overnight.
Day 5: After breakfast visit to the Moraca Monastery (13th century) located on Moraca River. Drive through Podgorica to Cetinje and tour of the Cetinje Monastery,the King’s Nikola Castle, Museum. Lunch. Drive by narrow roads to Becici while enjoying the magnificent view from Montenegro mountain peaks approaching the beautiful coast, photo stop at St. Stefan. Hotel accommodation, dinner in Budva old town. Overnight in Becici.
Day 6: After breakfast drive to Kotor and sightseeing tour (Cathedral of St.Tryphon, the Navy Museum, the main square). Boat ride to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rocks, located on the picturesque island in the magnificent Kotor Bay. Fish lunch in Kotor Bay traditional restaurant with unique atmosphere. Drive to Dubrovnik and hotel accommodation. Dinner in Dubrovnik traditional restaurant within old city walls. Overnight.
Day 7: After breakfast - Dubrovnik tour – the Sponza Palace, Orlando Monument, Stradun. Lunch, shopping and short leisure time. Drive to Mostar, passing along the beautiful Adriatic coast and Neretva River delta. Short stop-over in Pocitelj and visit of the mosque and traditional oriental architecture. Accommodation in Mostar. Traditional dinner in the restaurant on the Neretva river bank. Overnight.
Day 8: After breakfast - Mostar tour – the newly rebuilt bridge over Neretva River, the old town, traditional handwork and filigree exhibition. Short leisure time, shopping and traditional branch (Bosnian kebab grilled meat). Drive to Sarajevo and sightseeing tour: the old downtown with old crafts and oriental architecture. Hotel accommodation. Dinner in Bascarsija, the old part of the town - traditional Bosnian meals. Overnight.
Day 9: After breakfast drive to Visegrad (photo stop at the famous bridge bordering. Serbia). Visit to the traditional rural settlement Wooden Town, founded by famous film producer Emir Kusturica on Mecavnik hill. Traditional welcome drink and organic lunch. Train ride by the narrowest rail- gouge in Europe (duration 2,5 hours through magnificent nature of the National Park Tara, thick forests and 16 km of curves and tunnels connecting altitude to the Mokra Gora peak). Drive to Zlatibor and hotel accommodation. Traditional organic dinner. Overnight.
Day 10: After breakfast drive along the Drina River, passing the scenic landscape. Border crossing to Bosnia and lunch in magnificent traditional settlement “Stanisici” in Bijeljina. Drive across the Fruska Gora Mountain inside the National Park “Fruska Gora” to Novi Sad. Visit to the Petrovaradin Fortress known as “the Gibraltar on the Danube” and Novi Sad city tour. Accommodation in hotel, dinner, overnight.
Day 11: After breakfast drive to Sremski Karlovci, the spiritual and cultural center of Serbs. Short walk through the town center with impressive architecture and beautiful fountain. Visit to the Honey Museum, wine and honey tasting. traditional branch in wine cellar. Drive to Belgrade Airport “Nikola Tesla” and departure flight.
