Mt. Shasta, California - Back country Camping.
Find out why Mt. Shasta is one of the best peaks for back country skiing and riding in the country! The west and east sides of the mountain offer an extensive variety of terrain including descents of Shastina, Shasta's sister peak.
Four day in the Shasta back country includes instruction in snow camping as well as back country skiing and riding techniques, a ski descent from the summit is possible! All intermediate to advanced snowboarders, telemark, and Randonnee skier welcome.
