Continuing education in traditional (TRAD) leading techniques, this course introduces the climber to the complexities and problems involved in traditional leading on natural rock on multi-pitch routes.

Emphasis is on safe and efficient placement of rock climbing anchors, belay stances, and efficiency during a leading sequence. Development of sound judgment and decision makings is another key element of this course to safe rock leading on multi-pitch terrain.
