We also visit sites relating to the 1812 campaign, from Smolensk to Moscow, where we enjoy visits to battlefields and museums. Of course, no visit to Moscow would be without a visit to the Red Square and the Kremlin.
French claim that they won all main battles during Russian campaign in 1812 but what happened to Napoleon and his Grande Armee? The Emperior had to escape Russian cossacks and half of his Armee never returned to France. While Russian troops made it all the way to Paris.

Victory at the Battle of Borodino - September 7, 1812 where Emperior Napoleon Bonaparte of the First French Empire won against Marshal Mikhail Illarionovich Kutuzov of the Russian Empire.
